Beginnings of an Idiot Mind[edit source]

Firstly, you may want to try thinking before you do anything; you're running around creating pages in some vain attempt to host your walkthrough, when all you're doing is creating a trail of needless mess, and secondly; walkthroughs shouldn't be added to the index until they're completed.

And lucky third point; look at the others, there's something in the range of thirty to forty walkthroughs hosted there, have a look at what they do, and it should be very clear.

By the by; you should sign all edits to talk pages and forums with four ~'s. Likeacupcake 05:03, June 29, 2011 (UTC)

I'm sorry if I sound harsh, but I truly believe the only way people learn is to figure things out for themselves, but I will say this; Firstly, those incomplete walkthroughs shouldn't be there, and will be removed when someone gets bored enough to actually clean it up. As for deleting pages; only admins can delete pages, you can mark a page for deletion, like I have done with the pages that need to be, by adding {{delete|put your reason here}} to the top of the page.

In short; I'm sorry if I sound harsh, but you need to look, think and try and work things out. Good luck! Likeacupcake 05:11, June 29, 2011 (UTC)

It looks like there's only one walkthrough instead of many copies. Should I still do the whole delete thing? MechaKaiser 05:16, June 29, 2011 (UTC)

If you want to make a walkthrough, I don't think you should delete it >_> Likeacupcake 05:18, June 29, 2011 (UTC)

Walkthrough[edit source]

I've cleaned up the category and template properly. No harm done, but in the future if you're unsure about how to do something please ask someone first. Doreiku Kuroofangu 06:12, June 29, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks, Drake. BTW, I'm a big fan. MechaKaiser 06:18, June 29, 2011 (UTC)

Uh..sorry I'm not sure...Clarent  (talk/ contribs) 08:01, June 29, 2011 (UTC)

I added your walkthrough to the main page. And don't get rid of your talk messages, mmk. It's against the rules and stuff. --Shockstorm (talk) 05:42, January 11, 2013 (UTC)

I don't mean to sound like an ass, but shouldn't it be MechaKaiser instead of Mechakaiser? I'm just askin.

MechaKaiser, who else? (talk) 06:11, January 11, 2013 (UTC)

Declaration[edit source]

Seeing as how I can't escape the noob mistakes I've made, I hereby say that just about all of the above is now null and void (sans the recent above message.) Wish I can hide it, but just like 6th Grade, I can't.

You can still archive it (i.e. dump it all here). Personally I don't see why we have that rule other than "all other wikis do it", but I don't make the rules, I just call 'em.
As for your question for 8bit, to add the walkthrough to the list, you put it here. C A T U S E 06:11, January 11, 2013 (UTC)

OK, Question 1: Do I just type in the name of the walkthrough, my name, and then the hyperlinks, or is it more complex? I wanna know before I make a mistake. Again.

Question 2: How exactly do I create an Archive page? Is it as easy as making a Walkthrough page or similar to it?

MechaKaiser, still bein' an $#&... (talk) 16:10, January 11, 2013 (UTC)

You just type in [[Walkthrough:Final Fantasy III / MechaKaiser|MechaKaiser's Job FAQ]] or whatever.

And yes, making Archive pages is no different than making any other page. C A T U S E 16:13, January 11, 2013 (UTC)

Re:Vandals[edit source]

First, the archives are, well, archives, please, I have a standard talk page. Second, huh? Doreiku Kuroofangu 04:04, March 1, 2013 (UTC)

Ah sorry bout that. I saw 'Such-and-such date - 'and thought that's where I go, As for what I'm talking about: Exhibit's A and B.

For A: I only saw the problem for Tidus and Sephiroth, not sure if any others are affected, and for B: look at the template where it shows the name of the game he's from at the bottom and you'll see what I mean. MechaKaiser, who else?. (talk) 04:09, March 1, 2013 (UTC)

No, I don't see. Doreiku Kuroofangu 04:10, March 1, 2013 (UTC)

What do you mean you don't see it? Look at the References part of Auron's page! MechaKaiser, who else?. (talk) 04:13, March 1, 2013 (UTC)

I can't help you if you won't tell me what the problem is. Doreiku Kuroofangu 04:17, March 1, 2013 (UTC)

Okay, let's try this again: When you go to a page on either a character, game, weapon, etc. and you go down to the bottom of the page where that template that has the name of a game that they're from, like 'Final Fantasy IX', and you click the down arrow, and it shows the lists of characters, locations, etc., For some reason, when I look at it, I don't see that template, just a mess that shows all the lists into one big space, and the same is done when I look at a Dissidia character's moveset sheet, and instead of two tabs for each game, it shows in all in a big mes as well. If you're not seeing it, then either something's up, or my computer is messed up and I've wasted your time for nothing. If so, then I apologize. MechaKaiser, who else?. Let's Plays[edit source]

What do I need exactly to apply for a Let's Play on this wiki? I've been thinkin about joining on the next one or so... MechaKaiser, who else?. (talk) 20:29, March 26, 2013 (UTC)

FFXI Free Trial Problem[edit source]

I've been having a problem trying to use the FFXI free trial on http://finalfantasyxi.com/freetrial/ and apparently theirs no more trial codes To give out. I thought the whole free trial thing would last forever or something? Does anyone else have that problem? I posted on some forums, and thought that asking here would be smart. Maybe. Shinra News[edit source]

Anyone can add news to the Shinra News. Just do it like the previous entries on the page, and remember to add it to the newsbox (there is a link on the Shinra News page to it, and just copy the format from the other newsbox entries; remove the oldest blurb and add the new one at the top). The "reporters" will then add it to the Twitter and Facebook.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 17:04, November 22, 2013 (UTC)

What?! Ur deleting walkthroughs that I haven't edited or worked on for months to free up space?! But-But I just friended you on Facebook!!!

In all seriousness, I'm fine with it. I already copied the text and formats that I used in those walkthroughs so if I feel the need to actually do them again, I'll have a place to start. Srry for the clutter :D MechaKaiser, who else? (talk) 14:58, February 20, 2016 (UTC)
