File Names[edit source]

This file is currently violating our policies as its name makes no sense and there's no copyright template. Please provide us with a suitable name for that file and tell us the way you acquired the image: you screenshoted it from the game, was it officially released by SE, or by other means? And thank you for your updates on "Final Fantasy Dimensions II"; much appreciated. ;) —Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 15:53, May 26, 2015 (UTC)

Per Kaimi. Please provide appropriate names, licenses and categories on images.--Magicite-ffvi-ios.png Technobliterator TC 14:17, May 27, 2015 (UTC)
You are still not categorising an licensing the images you upload. The uploader is expected to do this.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 17:08, May 30, 2015 (UTC)

I mean, come on....tell me what kind of names should i name my Images. I, too want to contribute. Most of the pictures I uploaded are screenshots after all... ——Preceding unsigned comment was added by Keekian (talkcontribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~.

The names of your most recently uploaded files are fine. They just need to be descriptive.
When you upload a file, there should be a drop down menu in the File Description section. That allows you to select the license. Most of the time you want one of the options listed under Fair Use. You can also add the license after uploading by editing the file and adding the appropriate copyright template. For game screenshots you'll mostly be using {{Screenshot}}.
Categorizing, for the most part, can be done by editing the file after uploading and adding the game name to the copyright template, for example {{Screenshot|Final Fantasy Legends: Toki no Suishō}}. If the copyright template you're using doesn't support that (you can look at that template's page if you need to check), you'll have to edit in the correct category the way any other page is categorized. -- Some Color Mage ~ (Talk) 06:31, May 31, 2015 (UTC)

See Category:Final Fantasy Legends: Toki no Suishō Images for what image categories for the game currently exist. :) Depending what type of image you upload you can place the image into a category by typing [[Category:<name of category>]] to the Summary field in the upload screen. Alternatively, all files and articles have the category field at the very bottom of the page, where you can also add categories (but not remove existing categories). Every single image and article belongs to some category, so you can go around clicking the category links at the bottoms of pages to familiarise yourself with how the categorisation system on the wiki works. Creating a new category is also easy: just categorise the article/file to the category you want to create, and it will appear as a red link you can then click and create. I know it's a bit confusing and a lot to take in at first, but we have tried to make the categorisation system as straightforward as possible, everything being "filed" under some bigger category grouping similar things together. Categories are important for managing the wiki, and also for the "Read More" feature to know how to suggest similar topics, and for the FFWiki mobile app to find the articles.

Thanks for all the content! I don't think anyone else on the wiki has Toki no Suisho so it is doubly appreciated.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 17:15, May 31, 2015 (UTC)

Reminder: add {{Screenshot|Final Fantasy Legends: Toki no Suishō}}, not just <nowiki>{{Screenshot}}.--Magicite-ffvi-ios.png Technobliterator TC 16:06, June 1, 2015 (UTC)

Oh, and for what I mean with image categories, see these edits for the type of categories you should add to images.--Magicite-ffvi-ios.png Technobliterator TC 16:11, June 1, 2015 (UTC)

Okay, let's put it this way. Categorizing images is important so that it is easier to find a group of images of the same type when going through them. You can easily add a category to your uploads; in the "Summary" box, add [[Category:Final Fantasy Legends: Toki no Suisho Location Images]], just like that. That, and the screenshot template: you are using the right licensing template, but you're not using it properly, and I demonstrated how to above. I don't know how to say this. Of course we appreciate the edits, but we're not here to categorize your images for you, can you please listen to us and do so on your next uploads? We won't have to keep bugging you about this if you start doing it, and it's good to get into the habit.--Magicite-ffvi-ios.png Technobliterator TC 12:26, June 2, 2015 (UTC)

However, I couldn't see the example of the link you sent me. Maybe it was broken LOLKeekian (talk) 12:35, June 2, 2015 (UTC)

So, you're trying to say that after uploading my images, update the info about which portion the Images belong too? Keekian (talk) 13:08, June 2, 2015 (UTC)

Yeah. Or, when uploading, there's a "Summary" box which you can add it in. But as I said, [[Category:Final Fantasy Legends: Toki no Suisho Location Images]] works for an image about a location. Once you do that, you're set, and we can stop bugging you. :P--Magicite-ffvi-ios.png Technobliterator TC 13:10, June 2, 2015 (UTC)

I'll try my best then. Keekian (talk) 13:14, June 2, 2015 (UTC)

Spoilers[edit source]

By that logic all wikia articles are spoilers. Not a very good argument.Cloudtheavenger (talk) 03:12, July 31, 2015 (UTC) Even the spoiler policy states "navigate this Wiki at your own risk".Cloudtheavenger (talk) 03:16, July 31, 2015 (UTC)

Tell that to the person who removed your spoiler. Hehe.Keekian 03:18, July 31, 2015 (UTC)

FFLTnS Translations[edit source]

I have a better way of determining abilities. All i do is to paste the Jap word into the search bar and pop, the skill translation comes out. Otherwise i use google translate and try to make sense with the translated words. Keekian (talk) 08:28, September 10, 2015 (UTC)

So....where can i find this "Translation page"? or whether what i should do Keekian (talk) 08:55, September 10, 2015 (UTC)

Just found out there is a lot of things missing on that page itself, will mend it when i have time Keekian (talk) 10:37, September 10, 2015 (UTC)

Toki no Suisho's Content[edit source]

Heya there \o

As you can tell from my statement in the edit summary, I will be starting to separate a lot of sections from the Final Fantasy Dimensions II page. As I said, the page is becoming oversaturated and is become really messy because of all the info you've been placing on there. @_@ And before you think I don't think your info is good, your info is very good on there and that's why I think it needs to be split from the main page, so you and other people can expand on the content more. >_>

Primarily here's the plan, these are following sections that are or will be need to be put into the following pages:

In addition, content referring to Phantom Stones should probably be moved to the Summon (Legends II) page and the sections referring to bosses will eventually be moved to respective enemy pages and enemy list page for the game.

Why am I telling you all this? I'm telling you all this just to link you to the eventually pages all that stuff will be on, so you can add stuff there and also so you don't freak out and go "UGH, they deleted all the stuff I worked on for months!" As you can tell, I don't play this game, I just translate the game and watch gameplay videos the last year. I have no intentions to play it atm; primarily because I don't know how to get jpn apps, so I think these pages would need some of your insight on expanding them.

Also, as you can see here, I am currently trying to build a new format for the Summon page to have. Mainly this will highlight which abilities (name and what tier they go up to) the summon teaches and what passive abilities they give. Passives will be added to the main table to remove the need of the passive table you have made on the bottom. So I would like any opinions/ suggestions on the format, provided if you have the time of course, since you also edit the summon page from time to time and I'd hate to just drop a new format bomb on you without any warning lol. --Miphares (talk) 04:14, January 4, 2016 (UTC)

Thanks tho. As for the Phantoms stones there are about 10-20 stones not yet updated, with some of the abilities missing. The new format table you gave is awesome, although it may need some time for me to understand how to use the table, although it's copy and paste. Keekian (talk) 04:27, January 4, 2016 (UTC)

Neo Mindy summon ability[edit source]

You put her summon ability as Elemental Storm, different from Mindy's ability. I assumed this was a mistake and changed it to Passado (copied from Mindy). If it was correct, then I'm sorry.--LeafShinobi (talk) 21:31, May 11, 2016 (UTC)

dont worry bro it was a mistake on my partKeekian (talk) 11:35, May 12, 2016 (UTC)

FFLII[edit source]

Its a child Rydia. As for the images i leave it all up to Miphares to upload. Because the images i upload are low quality ....(using paint.) Keekian (talk) 00:45, December 19, 2016 (UTC)

The Reply[edit source]

Zantetsusen is "斬鉄剣", for your information. The main site i use is "http://www.jp.square-enix.com/ffl_ts/", However as you know I only understand Japanese Kanji though since i am Chinese. So for other summons I don't understand i will have to rely on Miphares and other people. The Japanese ability names you are looking for can also be found on the site too, but you must be patient in finding.

I also recently discovered the Japanese Final Fantasy site which i suspect to a certain extent that Miphares may have used it in the past. It only provides "clean" recent phantom stone images though... Which is pretty good already. Older news are inaccessible. Re: Translation[edit source]

Sorry was busy when you sent that previous message with classes, scheduling for next semester traveling, and real life issues. Anyways, Chronos and Kairos if you haven't solved it for yourself while waiting for myself. Sorry about being late. --Miphares (talk) 17:22, August 11, 2017 (UTC)

ok. Keekian (talk) 03:02, August 12, 2017 (UTC)

Walkthrough cleanup[edit source]

Hey there! The FFWiki admins are looking to clean up old, abandoned walkthroughs, and you have not touched your FFD walkthrough since you started it in 2015. Would you like us to move it to your userspace or just have it deleted? Cat (meowhunt) 22:47, June 7, 2020 (UTC)

Delete it then. Keekian (talk) 01:10, June 8, 2020 (UTC)
