Comment Edit

Bah, its cool. Fae's been after me for a while, he reacts like this every time I start working on something (don't get me started on "has" vrs "as"...). And I can't go more then a week without someone taking a shot at me anyway (pretty much the only staff members/higher ups who have NOT taken shots at me are 8 bit and Yuan). They don't seem to realize that I get way worse then this in reality and their comments are naught but the most fleeting of shadows to me. Bottom line, its no problem, you could not of known how he would react, and if he wants to chew me out, he would of found something to do it with eventually. Exdeath64 00:50, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

FFVIII Template Edit

It looks good but like my template, it won't work with bosses.

We can create a template for bosses because, besides Edea and Seifer, they are fought only once, which a specific Template will work while for those two, the Sin method may work but ask ILHI before doing it.

Hi^^ Edit

but i have authorization of the staff to put my article on this page you should have notified me before move it to my user page. Sindra The Fire Angel 14:20, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

OK, I'll remove the test on your user page since this may have been a misunderstanding, but for now you should keep the delete tag on the redirect because it is still being discussed. Wait until 8Bit says 'yes its fine' and only then should you move the article back to the mainspace. And by the way, I did tell you, it was on the page summary on Recent Changes. Jeppo (Talk) 14:33, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Just look in his talk page he says for me use this page jezSindra The Fire Angel 14:38, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Yes I know he did, but things have gone on about that. It was lated decided that it should go to your Userspace. Maybe you should listen to what he said here and then it could go back onto the mainspace. It still needs work. Jeppo (Talk) 14:44, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
Sorry about giving Sindra the go without talking to him about format first, Jepp. Sindra, if you could see the talk page of the article, which is now in your userspace... 8bit 14:48, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

him ? ? ? Sindra The Fire Angel 14:55, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

ILHI has a point, though I probably wouldn't have said it so bluntly. It's just that all articles have to obey standards and its a fact of life that poorly made articles get deleted. Just be thankful yours got moved into your userspace. Jeppo (Talk) 15:00, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

I accept. I also suggest you keep an eye on Kiff15, if you'll look at his contributions, that isn't the only vandalism he's done like that. 19:14, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

I see that you deleted the fields for status resistance on the NES and PS fields. Should we list the individual statuses (like in the GBA and PSP versions), or not (as the element names basically explain it all)? ScatheMote 19:28, September 3, 2009 (UTC)

Boss Template Help Edit

TenzaZangetsu 17,957 5 September 2009 (UTC)  -   "It is because of your heart that you will die.":
I'm going to start a FFIII Walkthrough and I need a Boss Template but every I make doesn't look good and I was thinking if you could give me a hand? PS: I finished my FFT Walkthrough, check it out:Walkthrough:Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions/User:TenzaZangetsu.
Winterwolf ff1 psp

OK, when making a template it really depends on what you want to put in it. I'll use the colours from the Manual of Style, but you can choose whatever colours you want. A good place to start is this:

{| border="1" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2" width="100%" style="background:#33CCFF;"
|- style="background:#346E3C; color:#FFFFFF;"
! colspan="4"| BOSS: {{{Name}}}
|- style="background:#68DC78;"
! width="15%"| Image
! width="25%"| Statistics
! colspan="2" | Strategy
| rowspan="4" align="center" style="background:#FFFFFF;"| [[File:{{{Image}}}|150px]]
| rowspan="4" |
'''HP:''' {{{HP}}}<br>
'''Weak:''' {{{Weak}}}<br>
'''Half:''' {{{Half}}}<br>
'''Immune:''' {{{Immune}}}<br>
'''Absorb:''' {{{Absorb}}}<br>
'''Steal:''' {{{Steal}}}<br>
'''EXP/Gil:''' {{{EXP}}}/{{{Gil}}}<br>
'''Drop:''' {{{Drop}}}<br>
BOSS: {{{Name}}}
Image Statistics Strategy

HP: {{{HP}}}
Weak: {{{Weak}}}
Half: {{{Half}}}
Immune: {{{Immune}}}
Absorb: {{{Absorb}}}
Steal: {{{Steal}}}
EXP: {{{EXP}}}
Gil: {{{Gil}}}
Drop: {{{Drop}}}

After that, save your code to a page like Walkthrough:Final Fantasy III/TenzaZangetsu/Boss, then when you want to add the template onto your walkthrough page, copy and paste the following and fill in the blanks.

| Name =
| Image =
| HP =
| Weak =
| Half =
| Immune =
| Absorb =
| Steal =
| EXP =
| Gil =
| Drop =
| Strategy =

Of course you can use the above as a base and you can play around with it as much as possible until you are satisfied with it. If you are going to do what I did and add abilities then I strongly suggest against making a template and just put the raw code in, but it's entirely up to you.

And well done in completing your walkthrough. Do you want me to check for spelling/grammatical errors? Jeppo (Talk | contribs) 22:13, September 5, 2009 (UTC)

TenzaZangetsu 17,957 6 September 2009 (UTC)  -   "It is because of your heart that you will die.":
I like the template, I'll play around with the codes to add my style, the problem was that no model please my already low standards but you really help me out. And don't worry, Paramina is helping me out with the grammar but you can help if you want to.

Dissidia Storyline Pages Edit

I'm working on one now, just a couple things I'm doing I'm gonna run by you for feedback.

  1. I'm referring to battle pieces as "Battle pieces" under map guides, unless they're Hard, Strange, etc.
  2. I'm using the Manikin's base stats, before modifiers in the enemy tables
  3. I cropped several Manikin images for better sizing in the tables.

Good work on VII's, and thanks for the awesome map table! Drake Clawfang 00:56, September 16, 2009 (UTC)

I'm fine with that, though you may have some trouble cropping the Phantasmal Girl image. Terra is too thin! Jeppo (Talk | contribs) 11:33, September 16, 2009 (UTC)

When you add stats to pages, are you using the stats before the equipment modifiers, or after? You keep adding them in with the modifiers. Drake Clawfang 17:25, September 19, 2009 (UTC)

After the equipment modifiers, but before the accessory modifiers. I think it's more useful that way. It's better to do it after equipment modifiers so that you actually know what stats the character is. Otherwise you are leaving the reader to work out the actual stats for themselves, and if they are anything like me, they can't be bothered to do that. Having said that I'm not including accessory modifiers as they concern initial HP and BRV, like The Rotten for example, but I put such information in the Other Info field. Jeppo (Talk | contribs) 20:44, September 19, 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, that's true, saves the user the work...alright then, over time let's change them to after modifiers. Drake Clawfang 21:27, September 19, 2009 (UTC)

FFX Blitzball challenges Edit

I got a difference of five goals on the first challenge the very first time I got far enough in the game. So does it count if I did it in the past?

I just tried the 12 goals challenge, too, and just barely made it against the Beasts. So yeah. I'm surprised at myself. Hooray!

Bartz Edit

He's an idiot? - +DeadlySlashSword+ 23:47, September 24, 2009 (UTC)

Not as bad as Zidane.  NeoZEROX Dissicon ff6 Ter4 23:49, September 24, 2009 (UTC)
DSS: He seems to be portrayed that way in Dissidia. To me he does, anyway. Even Kuja calls him "Light-headed" in the game. I hope he's not like that in FFV. Bartz: Japanese for idiot, and a simple mistranslation away from having a more suitable name.
NBZX: At least Zidane is actually useful, even if his voice is rather grating. Jeppo (Talk | contribs) 23:54, September 24, 2009 (UTC)
Here's a hint, Yappo: Play the original games. Dissidia doesn't do the characters justice in the slightest. - +DeadlySlashSword+ 23:56, September 24, 2009 (UTC)
I will once it comes out on a platform that I can access, though the chances of that are undoubtedly slim... I'll probably never get to play it. Jeppo (Talk | contribs) 00:01, September 25, 2009 (UTC)
I agreed, but I just don't like Zidane, but he is more useful then Exdeath. But Cloud, Terra, Sephiroth and Kefka are way better. Especially Kefka, I just LOVE his quotes! NeoZEROX Dissicon ff6 Ter4 00:06, September 25, 2009 (UTC)

Hello. You asked for a clarification, so here it is: It was indeed the game in Luca before the fiends attacked. I managed the first time I played the game by what I can only assume was dumb luck. It was 1-6 and if I remember correctly, it would have been 1-7 if the game had ended about four seconds later. I remember because the second time I played Blitzball, I royally sucked at it and I was really bummed out at the realization that my victory was just a fluke. Also, I should probably mention that I was nine years old at the time and I had my dad helping me with all of the addition and subtraction (it might have been thanks to him that I won, actually). I dunno if that disqualifies me or not. >_>; Zerohope2survive 07:10, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

Good day Sir! Just spotted your Challenges and would Like the Awards for number's 3,4 and 9. Thankyou muchly! --Biggs&Wedge 08:28, October 6, 2009 (UTC)

I'm sure you do like the awards but you need to complete the challenges first in order to receive them! Or are you saying that you have beaten the challenges and want the awards? Jeppo (Talk | contribs) 16:20, October 9, 2009 (UTC)

I just found your page. I'm new, but I've played through most of the final fantasy's. Your challenges are awesome, and looking through them I have completed #1, 3, 4, 5 and 8. If you want to give me credit I would appriciate it, but as I've done them in the past I can't really prove that either. Anywa, I'm going to shoot for completing some of the other challenges. Thanks for putting them up!Bond em7 13:41, October 23, 2009 (UTC)

If you don't want to wait for template-links to dissolve, search can work like Google Search. Type in "Bomb (Enemy)" (with quotations) to find all pages that link to it. (you have to click "search" on, and on Monaco you have to press search, and then type it in)  ILHI 22:54, October 9, 2009 (UTC)

TenzaZangetsu 17,957 October 9 2009 (UTC)  -   "Yeah, MySpace, what the hell is that? Seriously, is that like some sort of porn site?.":
Yes, you should buy the game, any version is good and this is coming from someone who played every version.

psp 1 and 2 Edit

just reading the first line of the page and i havnt bothered checking ot see when it was written just find it strange that your waiting for the psp versions of one and two to be released. I live in ireland and as fas as ive seen in shops they've been out here for ages (although i dont have a psp so dont pay them much attention) Oni Dark Link 00:13, October 11, 2009 (UTC)

I'm fairly sure that it isn't available in the PAL (European) region, and probably never will. Anyhow, I've already played FFI and II, the PS version, so even if it is out, I probably won't buy it now. What I'm hoping for now is that FFs III, IV, V and VI would come out on a platform that I have access to, however I think that will never happen now. Jeppo (Talk | contribs) 00:17, October 11, 2009 (UTC)
maybe my local store is just illegally importing gmes allthough that wouldnt really work since it wouldnt work on a pal psp but i dont know. And if those are the games you havnt played i would definetly reccamend buying a second hand game boy or DS for IV alone. Three isnt too bad either Oni Dark Link 00:21, October 11, 2009 (UTC)
Actually they would work on a PAL PSP because handheld consoles are not region locked. I have been tempted to buy a DS in the past but it's just a bit expensive at the moment. Plus Christmas is coming up. Jeppo (Talk | contribs) 00:26, October 11, 2009 (UTC)
I think he's right actually, I remember seeing them in stores ages ago (I'm sure you've heard of GAME). And I live in Sweden. Oh btw I completed the Dissidia challange, I got addicted to the game right after buying it and spent the whole of the day after I bought it playing it. BlankTH 04:57, October 19, 2009 (UTC)
