Re: WelcomeEdit

Thanks for the welcome! I've been here before, though today is my first time posting an edit, I think. This seems like a very good Wiki, I'll have to try to stop by more often. (I'll also have to try and figure out this template everybody else is using for the talk pages when I have the chance.) George B. (talk) 23:21, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

You're welcome. I hope you enjoy your time here and make lots of helpful contributions! If you want make your own talk template, you can find out by going here.

Even as a fellow Brit, I disagree with you concerning the EU, but this is slightly beside the point. The Man In The Black Cape 21:44, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

Many people do, but if Gordon Brown ever gives us a referendum on the issue (which he won't) I bet most people will vote no to the EU.
Anyway. What's beside the point? Jeppo 21:48, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

you use the <div> tag. For example, <div align="center">Hello!</div> will make

As for playable character and boss templates, first create an article called, for example Walkthrough:Final Fantasy X/DarkShuyin/Playable and put your template here. There are several ways you could actually create one, but I'll give you a simple one:}}

Playable character: {{{name}}}
[[File:{{{image}}}|200px|center]] {{{text}}}

Use that code as a starting point. Then to implement that into the article type {{../Playable|name=Tidus|image=FFX Artwork Tidus.png|text=Write what you think of Tidus here}} This should then make

Playable character: Tidus
FFX Artwork Tidus
Write what you think of Tidus here

Boss templates work pretty much the same way. And after you gained some experience using templates you can add colour to your tables and such. Hope that helps. Jeppo 01:54, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

Try this. Copy and paste this code in your boss template (Walkthrough:Final Fantasy X/DarkShuyin/Boss):-

 {|border="0" width="100%" cellpadding="5" cellspacing="0" bgcolor="aqua" style="border:2px solid black;"
 |- bgcolor="black" style="color:white;"
 !colspan="2"|BOSS: {{{boss}}}
 | bgcolor="#008080"|'''HP:''' {{{hp}}}
 |- bgcolor="#008080"
 |'''Difficulty:''' {{{difficulty}}}
 |- bgcolor="#80FFFF"

To use this template type in your normal walkthrough:-

 |boss = Sinspawn Ammes (name of the boss)
 |image = Sinspawn Ammes-enemy-ffx.png (name of the image file)
 |size = 100px (how big you want to make the file)
 |hp         = 2,400              (HP of the boss)
 |difficulty = Easy (How difficult is the battle)
 |text = Put your boss strategy here.

If you've done it right this should make:-

BOSS: Sinspawn Ammes
Sinspawn Ammes HP: 2,400
Difficulty: Easy
Put your boss strategy here

Hi! I just want Jeppo to know that "my" Jeppo is the name of a small village in western Finland ( Jeppo FF is short for Jeppo Fotbollsförening; Jeppo soccer association (team). If I want to write my own name very short I also write just FF That's all.

Really? Well I didn't know that. What a coincidence! Thank you for telling me! Jeppo 14:06, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

Hey just wondering, but I'm kinda new here and so far ur pretty much the only one whose shown any form of common decency to me, so if you could help me out (i.e. tell me what I can do to help the wiki, help me with my userpage, etc.) Ummmmmmm so yeah.Immune to stop 04:09, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

Those test templates are too ugly to be bothered with, though they are quite beautiful in comparison to Master Charlatan's user and talk pages.

Now unless you want me to start playing with you, little one, I suggest you do not speak to me again.

Then you're smarter than most of the newcomers here. The best thing you could do is to let my talk page be. But each time you replace those silly little test templates simply makes me more willing to play with you.

Put your words into action, and do not waste the effort on me. I will continue to remove those silly little boxes, and will continue to play with those who do not ignore me.

Tables Edit

Example of temporary solution. --Hecko X 23:14, 28 April 2009 (UTC)

Thanks. I've fixed the Ifrit article too. Jeppo (Talk | contribs) 23:35, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
That's hardly a temporary solution: Jepp, if you looked at the code of the CCVII template, you'll see the colspans are in use like this, there. The table has to have equal columns of two and three. The LCM of two and three is six. Therefore, three columns of a colspan of two, and two columns of three are used. If colspans weren't used, well, you saw.  ILHI 15:34, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
I shall bear that in mind in the future. Jeppo (Talk | contribs) 15:36, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

Draws and other rules. Edit

Judge Chocobo Yellow Card!
You have violated one or more rules of the Dragon's Neck Colosseum. You have sacrificed your voting privileges for the next fight, and your current vote has been removed, if applicable. Please review the rules before attempting to participate in future DNC fights.

Thank you.

err... why? Jeppo (Talk) 12:10, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Hmm... no response. I bet I will get a response if I, say removed that template off my talk page.
Look if it is about what I said in the comments page, I'm just expressing my opinion that this draw rule is ridiculous. If I read the results of the last fight before I voted, I wouldn't have voted in the first place. That said, this black mark in front of my name is simply a disproportionate punishment. Voting twice, I can understand, but posting a comment about a previous fight will attract the same punishment? I think you seriously need to rethink your rules, Mr. Angel. Jeppo (Talk) 12:57, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
TacticAngel TALK 21:38, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
I bet I would respond quicker if I wasn't gainfully employed... but anyway... The comments section is for discussion of the current fight. If you wish to complain about the rules, there is a talk page. The rules are outlined at the top of the page and placed there so everyone knows what to expect and it also outlines what is expected of them. The directive for the use of the talk page was implemented to help make the DNC more fun for everyone. I took away your voting privileges for this week pursuant the rules you agreed to implicit your vote. I'm not sure how minor an infraction you consider a black mark, or how lightly you must be tapped before it becomes draconian, but as you sip from your amontillado, consider that some time ago it would have been so much worse. I can tell you this would be a silly thing over which to leave, but I have no intention of being threatened out of administrating this wiki.

TacticAngel TALK 04:36, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
Just some clarification: I didn't mean leave my post, I meant not do my job. I could phone it in, but that's not my style. The DNC rules are the best defined on the wiki, the punishments too. Thankfully it doesn't matter at all too.

I would encourage you to look into the history of the DNC for a reason why the 10% rule exists. Amano beat Nomura by 1 vote. People got pissed at the DNC Keeper at the time, CSM. Functionally this takes a lot of power away from me if I call it teh same way all the time, because I could just wait until whoever I wanted to win would get that vote. It might be a compromise, but that's democracy too. Everyone is proportionately unhappy.

I'm glad you decided to stay. If everyone who I've given a template left, there wouldn't be too many people here.

Amy CottonEdit

I know Amy on another wiki. She has been kicked out of the Kingdom Hearts wiki all due to her anger problem. I was only deleting all KH content on her page since she ran off crying. If you don't beleve me, ask her. She is on at the moment. We should have a userbox for wikians who are autistic like her, and have a picture of an angry face. Emilyc 01:54, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

Why, pray tell, should autism be associated with an angry face? -- Sorceror Nobody Flan 12:32, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
If she wanted to remove those KH references from her user page, she could do it herself. Editing other people's userpages is generally frowned upon unless they gave them permission to do so. If you have been given permission from her then revert my revert. I won't change it back again. Jeppo (Talk) 02:03, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

WYSIWYG is a lame termEdit

But yeah, the Monaco editor is adding spaces between templates. I think it might have stoped with that 160 thing it was doing though.  ILHI 18:01, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

You know, when Wikia brought out the "Rich Text Editor", I thought it was a good idea at the time, but when I had a look at it I found it to be horrible, especially when dealing with templates. What you see is clearly not what you get. And now its proving to be a nuisance for Recent Changes Patrollers, what with the WYSIWYG automatically changing hexadecimals into lowercase, making it nigh impossible to see what was actually changed in the first place. I know I've said this before but how I wish Wikia would leave things alone. Jeppo (Talk) 18:15, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

Status Resist Edit

Here, (and other places), you changed the resistance to Eject from "6", to "6%". I'm pretty sure this isn't right. The resistances are a stat, like Strength, and can go up to 255 (see Trema, Machina Panzer). So having a resistance to Zantetsu of 100 doesn't mean you resist it 100% of the time, you just resist it more than something with no resistance. --Gamer2127 23:35, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

You're probably right. I only changed the numbers into percent because I noticed that in some X-2 articles those numbers were as a percentage, so I begun changing the rest into a percentage. I'll change it back to numbers. Jeppo (Talk) 23:39, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
