Why undo the edit? Shadow Flare is the strongest spell in the game (spell power of 125) and can easily do 7,500 to an appropriately leveled character with no M. Barrier. Only the optional Weapons have stronger spells that are not gravity-based damage. That's extremely powerful. In fact, that is more than 3.5 times as damaging as the "less powerful" Pale Horse. Did you just think it hyperbole?

It would be better to write it down in those terms rather than use "extremely powerful" and "less powerful". Specificity is appreciated. :)Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 23:33, March 30, 2014 (UTC)

I see you've already re-edited that page with the description I used. I was actually worried that was overdoing. Also, do you think "appropriately leveled" might be too ambiguous in that context?

Yeah I don't know it could be a bit vague. Even if you don't do like any random battles at all you'll end up somewhere in LV40 in endgame with Cloud, so FFVII is pretty forgiving. I guess LV60+ would be optimal? If you want to specify a level range there it would be cool. The game designers considered an average level of 67 high-powered as this triggers the three party fight for Bizarro. I've always used three parties. I've never seen it do under 3,700 on a character with M. Barrier, save Cloud, and it did over 7,600 on level 69 Barrett. How about "a single-target attack capable of 7,500 damage against a level 65 character," or "a single-target attack that will likely KO its victim," or simply "the most powerful spell in the game"? The first one sounds good. :) It being the most powerful spell in the game can be mentioned too.Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 14:41, March 31, 2014 (UTC)

Thank you for letting me know. I'm fairly new to wikias and didn't know any other way. I will use that page for any future encounters with repeat offenders.IronGasoline (talk) 05:50, May 26, 2015 (UTC)
