RollbackEdit

I know it isn't much, but enjoy the rollback feature. Diablocon 23:49, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

Now there are too much moderators. Admin position plz. :D  ILHI 15:39, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Congratulations. You are now a moderator. You deserve it. Chocolancer 01:11, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Wooow... Congrats, ILHI! :D You do deserve it! ^^ - SilverSummonerTaLk 01:22, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Carbuncle

I knew you or Henry would get it someday. Though we don't always see eye-to-eye, you do deserve it. Congrats. Drake Clawfang 01:36, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Congratulations, ILHI - you had this coming to you for a long time. Maybe you can get your beloved Behemoth as a moderator avatar, as there are no GFs left XD 8bit 02:12, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

The Behemoth was only ever my avatar because it fit my colour scheme. I was originally going for the Lionheart, but with the 50px limit, our images were too small. I made the template with #CC0000 (ma fav colour) and black, and then found a fitting av. TBH, I'd prefer Griever. He's half of where my ext. username derived from. If that fails than Tiamat. Both of them are GF.  ILHI 15:39, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Congratulations, ILHI! You really deserve it. And yes, I shall begin stalking your contribs ;). — YuanSaluto!Acta 07:20, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Congratz ILHI and welcome, to the Pantheon of teh god-likes, otherwise known as.......THE FFWIKI STAFF!!! Hahaha no, I'm totally joking. Anyways, I think you probably are the King of Mainspace right now! Use your "powers" well ;} -Azul81677 23:14, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Would you mind holding off on the link changing? I've brought up an issue on Talk: Arubboth. If you've played FFII I'd appreciate your input... 8bit 01:11, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

Just finished. ^_^'. Didn't play FFII though.  ILHI 01:14, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

The After Years and FFI translations Edit

Just to let you know, 流星落下跡 is "Meteor Impact Site", not "Meteor Trail". I've done what I can for the After's translations page, hope it's okay ^^;. Do you mind giving me the source for the FFI and The After names? I know you're busy with lots of other projects, so it will go quicker if I have access to the Japanese. — YuanSaluto!Acta 10:39, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I saw the Meteor thing. I haven't made a page though and have just left it in my sandbox.
I'd prefer to do The After stuff myself if that's okay. I know I'll run into problems with not being sure of some translations: but these are only the unique FFIV:TA enemies that get me: I don't just want to guess to then be told I'm wrong by the English release.
But the FFI things: [1] (and "monster_2.html" and "monster_3.html". These don't include PSP enemies, which is just Chronodia I think. And the English is from this GameFAQ.  ILHI 11:00, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

For yoo Edit

I was just tired of categorizing 500+ images in my other wiki, decided to check out FFwiki, and then simply got nothing to do. Just made it during my categorizing-spree and I thought you'll like this. You do deserve this, after all. Cheerz! :D - SilverSummonerTaLk 07:41, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

Quistis sprite
Look! Quisty flirts at you!

Which means you must be very awesome or kickass or both to make her winks at you! If Quisty herself admits your awesomeness, then I, SilverSummoner, will admit your awesomeness as well! ^_^ You do deserve the utmost respect for all you've done to Final Fantasy Wiki. Keep it up, dude! And Quisty says she wants to get your phone number... O_O

You know, this wiki is far from perfect. So far from perfect I always have something to do and have loads of work in my backlog that I can do right now, if I wasn't doing other things. The remaining FFX bosses and formatting the enemies on FFIV enemy pages. The FFIV enemy pages formatting has been a task I've been doing for ages (since the 29th July 2008! I thought it would have been less because I can't keep track of time).

And thanks. Though my edits come from being a Gnome, I still put a helluva lot of effort into the wiki. Because I have more time? Partially, although I make time. And by make time I mean I don't do my homework and coursework each night. :D --Now I think I know why Bluer left AND got his rights revoked. I think he left twice before, think he finally had it.

Also, you have Hikki albums? Cans I listen to first album? Or earliest album you have?  ILHI 09:39, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

=D I know you'll like it. ^^ I know how.. eh.. "itchy" you might feel seeing the messy (but it's no longer messy right now, I think) categorizing system and not-so-good templates. My other wiki got those two things, and it's quite making me "uneasy" (can't find teh right word XD) if you like fatal frame, by any chance, just drop by!
You mean "First Love"? Dude, of course I have it >:D. I got some problem with my mediafire account, so I'll just give you this link :D. Oh, have you heard Ayumi Hamasaki's new album? I just bought it and it's a great album! O_O Almost all the songs are trance-ey and techno-ish. You should try to hear it! ^^ - SilverSummonerTaLk 11:51, 6 April 2009 (UTC) eh.. do you mind if I ask you to archive youz talk page? :D
Thank you. And I haven't heard Ayu's near album. I saw the tracklisting a few days back and then I completely forgot.  ILHI 12:30, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

Category Edit

Why did you type the categories like that? I never used pipe for categories... D: - SilverSummonerTaLk 18:48, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

Do you even know what the pipe does in categories?  ILHI 18:49, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
Nope. I just used pipes in linking. Never used it in category - SilverSummonerTaLk 18:50, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
Look at those categories and see how piping has benefited them. Also see how piping has benefited this.  ILHI 18:52, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
Aye aye sir. But what's with the ahriman image with "I KILL YOU" text? O_O geez it startled me.. - SilverSummonerTaLk 18:55, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
Why not? That's what I thought.  ILHI 18:57, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
Just go ahead then. But before you do that, can you tell me what benefit could be gained by piping categories? it's 3 am here and I can't think. - SilverSummonerTaLk 19:01, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
Arranges categories in logical order. helps a lot because, well, Category:Final Fantasy VIII Enemies shows that the list is seperated from the usual lettering. But mainly orders. Category:Final Fantasy Series Images shows how game series have been seperated from each other. And piping means that "List of" pages aren't always categorised under "L". Piping them will make them look neater. And that is the whole point in the majority of edits over the past few days. Eventually, when all the category names are right, I'll implement a full consistent category system.  ILHI 19:05, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
Ah... I see. So that's it... Thanks for telling and for the lulz - SilverSummonerTaLk 19:12, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

ZOMG did I make grave mistakes on the FFIX category..... (._.) truly sorry for that.... >__< Also, did the link I gave you to Utada's 2nd album works? - SilverSummonerTaLk 14:44, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

I was told I needed to sign-up. :/  ILHI 14:46, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
oh damn.. =\ I'll try to upload it somewhere else. I'll give you the link later. =D COnsider it as my apologize for the mistakes on FFIX abilities. :D - SilverSummonerTaLk 14:58, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

Enemy Table Help Edit

I noticed that for a box with no information, it has either None, Nothing, --, or N/A. Should we keep this consistent through the Wiki, or does anyone really care? (I want to know because I'm paranoid I'll do something wrong >_>) AstrialJam 01:42, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

Currently, no one cares. Use whatever you think is best.  ILHI 12:33, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

Wikibreak Edit

Yuan's on wikibreak... and now you too? D: - SilverSummonerTaLk 15:23, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

... I hate this wiki. What more can I say? Yet I feel without me here, and without Yuan here, this wiki's going to fall into breakdown. Every user here that doesn't edit mainspace, who does to get away with what they can are apparently "WikiGnomes". .. Hardly. If they're regular WikiGnomes then I must be really good, and deserve more respect than I find — That's why I prefer smaller wikis. You know if you something good you'll get praised. A majority of our users couldn't possible care about mainspace editors.  ILHI 19:49, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
If you want them to edit mainspace articles, why don't just ask them directly? like "hey, can you help me re-categorize these thingies" or something like that. Or maybe I just misunderstood your comment above. I can say that I'm quite simple-minded XD
But I do hope you'll come back... The wiki is no good without the lulz, if you know what I mean. btw, here's the real link to Utada's second album. It took me three hours yoo know. O_O [2] - SilverSummonerTaLk 04:29, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
Because despite my "forcing" attitude, I don't really have the will-power to argue with another user or force them to do something. Because even though I love to do it in some places, I'd find doing it in this circumstance more stressful. More importantly, this wiki's not going to change.
Also, thank you.  ILHI 12:18, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
"force them to do something" and "ask them to do something" is different, you know. I know that you found a lot of things to fix in this wiki and you did it all by yourself, sometimes with complaining how you did it all alone or with little help from other user. Well.. if you're overwhelmed by those thingies, you can always ask for others' help, no? I mean, it's just "Mind to help me fix these links?" it's that simple, at least IMO.
Also, you're welcome. I got the third album in case you want a copy of it. - SilverSummonerTaLk 15:49, 9 April 2009 (UTC) call me simple-minded or what.. I just voice my opinion =D
Ya plz. --BTW, some of this "complaining" is actually a bit of "bragging". I did it all by myself, and you ppl suck cuz you don't edit. :D
Though I actually appreciate all the help I'm getting with category moving. Means I can do everything else that isn't been done. Although I know some users here are doing it to raise their editcount. If I cared about editcount, the edit I'm about to make would have been in ~26 edits.
It depends what I'm doing at the time. A lot of the time I prefer to do things myself. Because then it will avoid being edit conflicted, or seeing someone beat me to it. Other times, if people can do it right (very rare :D) then I'm usually fine. Like when doing massive linkings (Toad. About 750 links fixed, ~two-thirds of mine, that took hours)
But mainly, I'm a guy who likes to be praised for the effort I put in. One of the reasons I went on the "wiki-break" (longest wiki-break evar. Once I went on a "minor wiki-break" for a few months. Used to say after the end of every long edit project "BTW, I'm still on wikibreak". Never did get to actually "break" tho') was to see where the wiki would get without me. Although not everyone read Project talk:A history. This is because a lot of people don't read talkpages. Template talk:FFIX Enemies. Though there are hundreds of talkpages I type messages in and never get a reply.
I'm going far-off what I really came here to say: Ya plz.  ILHI 16:02, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
To bring it up: I saw it all those talk pages. I didn't reply cuz simply I didn't know what to say.. @_@
well... I'll handle the category moving thingy if you don't mind =D As for Utada, eh... I'll give you the link later... ^^" - SilverSummonerTaLk 16:31, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
That's because you read most talkpages. Possibly every talkpage. Even the archived ones. :D --I do that sometimes, but often I don't has the time.
And thanks for handling the category moving. Because it means I can make formatting edits which read "-13,626". I just reformatted it so it looks exactly the same, but using cleverer code.  ILHI 16:45, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
Here it is: [3]
That's because you read most talkpages. Possibly every talkpage. Even the archived ones. :D --> True. But I still can't open BlueLionheart's archived talk pages. Must be so damn long that it kills the browser. - SilverSummonerTaLk 03:10, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
As I believe I've already said to you, her talkpage was so long you couldn't add talk templates. The second time, I couldn't access her talkpage, so I typed in the URL to access the edit screen for her page to tell her she needs to archive. So she has big archives.
Also, ty. :D  ILHI 03:24, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

Edit? Edit

Ninja of Wind2
This edit uncategorises you from the Category:FFWiki administrators category. The template auto-categorises the page, I thought it in the best interest of the best wiki to only have adminstrators there so I coded the userbox into the page, and wrote the code for the userbox in a hidden notice. Don't worry, it still looks the same.

As for my WikiBreak, it's because I find this place double as boring as it used to be, and also because I have two other wikis I administrate which I should pay attention to. I've hit 30866 edits to this wiki. All wikis included, I have about ~37000. Not a lot more.  ILHI 20:32, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

I wonder if anyone would appreciate me adding it to Template:ILHI, so everywhere I leave a message, there's a chance of it appearing. And the more messages, the bigger chance. (I actually once did that kind of thing, "ILHI woz ere" (or something), white text, bottom right. BH said no. I was just trying to find a use for the code. :D  ILHI 16:48, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

It's just choose/option with loads of blank options. Although they aren't blank in my example because I wasn't sure the ratio was working correctly. Might just have been the browser's memory of the page tho' (y'know, when you go on pages but you have to hard-refresh for it to change?)  ILHI 16:39, 27 April 2009 (UTC)

Pattern Edit

Hecko avatar
The enemy order is because I copied all the content from List of Final Fantasy IV: The After Years Enemies and pasted it there, and then ordered it. --Locations aren't alphabetical, but instead they're in the order of my online source. I'd like that to stay the same. Everything else is alphabetical based on Fan ATM although I've made no attempt to reorganise the Japanese ones I originally dumped at the bottom.  ILHI 18:51, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Tranaslator?Edit

Since Yuan has left the wiki for now...and with her Japanese translating skills unavailable, maybe you can give me a shot at them? I'm not as good as she is though, but having someone is better than no one, right?

I take great offense at your little remark in your userpage. You might have been annoyed at the moment, but generalising users and telling them how much they suck (which is half-true, by the way) is definitely discouraging. I have cut some of my time to contriblute to Sardapedia, so I'm currently inactive here. Regardless though, I will still offer my services to you. Do you need them? Chocolancer 19:50, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

It's supposed to be a generalisation because most users suck. :D --I'll remove it because at the time of writing I was in a pissed mood (hence the two-day wikibreak (because I'm on here everyday, two days is a long time)).
As for translating, Hecko X is also helping, but I can't see harm in you helping too. Unless there's some massive edit conflict. ^_^  ILHI 20:02, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

TablesEdit

Apologies for the shoddy linkage on the Hi-Potion tables! I'll keep in mind to specify the pages next time... still trying to get my head round this coding business. If there's any other tables you need info for, let me know! - Paramina 21:34, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Please Edit

VIIBCKatanaM
I did not revert your edit. And it's nothing to do with you as a person, it is to do with your edits as edits. You raised the point about the timeframe being unrealistic in the current state of the wiki, I removed it because there is no timeframe. Yuan was elected after about a month, I was after over a year. The timeframe you selected is a good guess, but it's wrong.

So asking a user not to revert edits is pretty silly. I bet that's what all the vandals say.  ILHI 05:51, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

Category moving... Edit

... same goes to Template and walkthrough spaces? @_@ - SilverSummonerTaLk 14:04, 11 April 2009 (UTC) happy linking, btw! :D

No. Not yet anyway. The category system is a form of navigation, so it is in out best interest for that system to be perfected. Also The Final Fantasy Tactics TA2 needs to be sorted out almost completely if you haven't already.
Although I'm planning on completely re-organising template at a later date.
As for the linking, it's annoying. Usually its find link, replace with new links, open drop-down and click linking, save. Now I have to read where it is, and then choose which one should go there. ;_;. And this is on a big scale too. Wheras usual linking would take a few hours, this will take over double the time. And I have to repeat this 4/5 times.  ILHI 14:09, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
Ah.. the Tactics A2.. that will took 2 days at my categorizing speed, but I'll do it. :D
Once again, have fun linking!</smirk> It seems your linking work is.. eh.. quite troublesome compared to teh categorizing, which makes me happy :D - SilverSummonerTaLk 14:16, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

Teh <includeonly> thingy Edit

It's on this Template:Gamecover. Previously it was "Category:Video game covers", then I changed it to Category:Video Game Covers.
