Errm, yeah sure, thanks.

@8bit: Hmm, well when I compare myself to other people from my year, nay, school, I'm sure it would seem that way.  ILHI 09:03, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

Forum talk...[edit source]

Not going to happen. Diablo/Bluer's killed off the tabs with CSS. JudgeZarbi TALK 15:55, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

This was a code added in by Bluer to stop people adding forum talk pages instead of adding their message to the bottom of the page. I'll try and see if I can work something out. But you could just create a "Forum talk:*" page, and it would appear, could you not? It appears the same for everyone so it's not just you.

Edit: Oh, now I see it all. Bluer should be able to add an "exception" on the script.  ILHI 15:57, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

Thanks[edit source]

How are you doing that so fast?[edit source]

Theatrhythm Ultimate Weapon.png

Okay, I've been using Firefox 2 for sometime now. When I upgraded to Firefox 3, the find-feature wasn't as easy to use as it was on Firefox 2.

I have "Shin-Ra" in my find, and

"Shinra" in my Ctrl+C. Click "Next", Press "Ctrl+V" and it is changed. In Firefox 3 it will not let you do this. So I'm still using Firefox 2, and Firefox 2 is how I am much faster at linking and correcting than most other people.  ILHI 19:16, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

There wasn't as much as I though there would be. Only 178, which I did most, and I think Bluerfn finished the remaining. :D -- Thanks for willing to do so however. Your sig...[edit source]

Your sigs (since it seems that you've made them appeared randomly) are taken from Ayumi Hamasaki's song lyrics: M, Audience and UNITE. Am I correct? - SilverSummonerTaLk 16:45, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

Yup. My brother owned an Ayumi Hamasaki remix (Audience, Darren Tate's Remix (BTW, Darren Tate is legend)). I then tried to search for Ayu on YouTube for a bit. Later on in the year I accidentally found M, the Above & Beyond Remix, and then I started to listen to Ayu Trance mixes (In actual fact, I knew most of the Trance DJs on it beforehand, could've found them all individually if I tried hard enough). Brilliant they were. Apparently, YouTube says the originals are awesome too, if not moreso.
J-Pop is far better than UK/US pop.  I Lion Heart I 16:56, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
Agreed with you. ^^ J-Pop is far better than anything! ^^ and Trance is very addictive music... *_*
Have you listened to the songs from her earlier albums? M and UNITE are coming from the "I am..." album, which has only slight trance feeling on it. If you want the more upbeat and trance-ey one, I recommend songs from her LOVEppears album ^^ - SilverSummonerTaLk 17:04, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
I'll be listening to all of her songs in the coming weeks. I was going to today, but I'm listening to someone else. (German Techno/Dance/Trance band; Scooter - You'll be able to tell from my Music List that I like them; have over 60 of their tracks and want moar; not my fault they have at least 173 tracks and have been going since 1993) YouTube is great. ^_^  I Lion Heart I 17:13, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
Happy listening, then! ^^ oh, may I recommend you one nice techno track? it's "Come" by Namie Amuro. Perharps you've heard of this one, though... ^^ - SilverSummonerTaLk 17:22, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
I'll remember that. At the moment, I can't even get my Talk Archive page to start loading. A pain.  I Lion Heart I 17:31, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
Nice! May I recommend you one nice track? Pure trance; Lange vs. Gareth Emery - Another You, Another Me. Of course, there are varieties in Trance, I like Trance from most corners, but this one is probably my favourite track. The real Trance doesn't kick in until about a third of the way through; Trance is usually 6+ minutes, having an introduction and end which build up; in the middle it rises and falls until it reaches its peak and then it takes a few minutes to end. Progressive Trance it usually be called.  I Lion Heart I 21:23, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
  • _* nice one! that one is so 'catchy' and have some slight addictive effect.. ^^ Here's a thank-you gift from me... click me and me! ^^ - SilverSummonerTaLk 01:01, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
^_^ - That is the kind of thing I love. A lot of J-Pop just seems much more attractive. And I don't think I heard that remix, nor the remixer :D. I have something else you might like... I'll upload it later.  I Lion Heart I 16:55, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
Aah, just remembered how long it takes to upload mp3s where I took 30 and uploaded them and was greeted by the message "4 Hours and * Minutes Remaining", but the song I wanted uploaded first; Plummet (ft. Cheramy Burgess) - Damaged. Though Cheramy Burgess is a member of Plummet, I like to credit her because she is one of my favourite vocalists. It might not be the original, and a remix; but I don't know because there is so little difference. Anyway, hopes you enjoy. :D  I Lion Heart I 22:35, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
Wow... that one is a very nice song! It caused some kind of 'floating' effect on me when I listen to it.. *_* if you know what I mean... but I'm sure you do. Very trance-ey! I wanna show you this too! ^^ this one is more like techno-dance with a slight trance feel on it. click me!
I've been listening only to japanese songs, actually. So I don't know much about western singers... but that Cheramy Burgess is a nice one! the vocalist's voice is very trance-ey too... ^^ - SilverSummonerTaLk 06:10, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
EDIT: I forgot this one... click! - SilverSummonerTaLk 16:27, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
Heh, what I listen to isn't mainstream; Cheramy Burgess was the singer in Plummet for a limited amount of songs; Plummet wasn't popular in US, and they only had one popular hit in the UK which didn't do that well; it just briefly hit mainstream albums; (namely, "Now That's What I Call Music", a regular album that documents popular songs of timezones). Trance DJs span the Earth; because a lot of it doesn't have vocals it doesn't matter much.
System F is Ferry Corsten. Trance artists have loads of aliases; for different types of Trance usually; first time I've seen it been used was today when I took a look at the Cyber Trance; Ayu Trance albums on Wikip. Ferry Corsten ft. Esmee Bor Stotijn - It's Time. I used to claim it was my favourite song before my real venture into Trance. This song seems to be within your tastes.  I Lion Heart I 17:13, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
I see... it seems Trance isn't a very popular genre, huh? -.- no wonder, only special, chosen people can like Trance music. :D Actually, I prefer it if the trance is mixed with other music genre (especially techno-trance or dance-trance). I find there's only a few pure trance songs that I like... some other pure trance songs have 'monotone' beat and give me not enough 'flying' effect. But that doesn't apply on japanese trance. Maybe because Trance music was used to be one of the mainstream genre in Japan, that J-Trance is somehow well-arranged and sounded very nice. ^^ Most of the J-trance songs are mixed with techno (another favorite genre of mine). - SilverSummonerTaLk 01:03, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
EDIT:The song you showed me... it bears some similarity with J-trance... ^^ the beginning of the song is very catchy and upbeat, and it started to get a bit smoother in the middle till the end.. ^^ you're right, this song is within my taste. =P Ayumi hamasaki - Surreal This is the original version of the song, I found one of the remix, but I can't remember the alternate title name.. ^^ But the original has a slight trance feeling on it. And also this one: Ayumi Hamasaki - Connected (Ferry Corsten remix) - SilverSummonerTaLk 14:07, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
Surreal possibly sounds better than it's remix... though it's hard to tell because the remix takes into a different style. And Connected (Ferry Corsten Remix) is one of my favourite Ayu mixes. I'm actually listening to one of Ayu's albums now (it's legal unless I store it for more than 24 hours!); Loveppears, and I already heard A Song For XX... So far I've only "not liked" a few songs.
What some may call pure trance; Alt + F4 - Alt + F4. They've done a few remixes; but according to one site, that's there only song. Moby - Braveheart. A remix of the original Braveheart (film) theme.  I Lion Heart I 16:50, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
Hey, the Alt+ F4 is cool! :D Can you tell me how to download it? :D It's so catchy and nice! ^^
So you've been listening to Ayu's album? Do you want me to send the songs to you? Fortunately I own all Ayu's album (except for the remixes... I tend to listen to it via and I don't mind to send it to you if you want ^^ LOVEppears and Duty are undoubtedly my favorite out of the rest of the albums..*_* Ayumi Hamasaki - Evolution This one has a bright and somewhat cheerful tune ^^ also, it's a mix of a few genre including trance and a bit rock. So Ayu-esque! J-trance ftw! - SilverSummonerTaLk 04:38, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
I have my own methods of obtaining music; though I'd rather not discuss due to legal issues; even sending your friends songs is illegal... LOVEppears; only didn't like one song (forget which one; but that doesn't include the tracks that aren't proper songs and last about a minute); listening to Duty now; does not liek "Girlish".
Evolution; better than the Goldenscan remix of it.Hmm: ATB - 9 PM (Till I Come). I like it.
On the question about where to download it: it depends, but I assume: Go onto the URL > File > Save Page As.  I Lion Heart I 17:07, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
Nah... I got the songs legally, actually.. I bought the Original CD (so damn expensive they are....) and ripped the CD then saved the songs to 5 different storage, including my sis' iPod. :D LOVEppears' tracks are mainly trance-pop or the like... I bet the song that you dislike is Love ~destiny~? :D That's the only ballad song in the album, if I recall correctly. "Girlish", huh? No wonder... I don't really like that one too.. mostly because of the childish, girlish tune. ^^;
Ayu's interlude songs (or tracks that aren't proper songs and last about a minute) are actually quite good, in my opinion. example: Ayu - Not Yet This one is my fave. :D she should've expand this one into a real song... ^^ and also this one Ayu - taskinillusion very catchy tune ^^ techno is awesome... :3 - SilverSummonerTaLk 03:29, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
Taskinillusion is cool; not much Ayu in there but an expanse could've fixed that. Kinda reminds me of Tom Day - Sirens. It's very handy having a lot of my music hosten on the web ^_^.
As for you legally owning Ayu's albums; yes, but it would be illegal for you to send them to me; or it wouldn't, it would be illegal for me to store it for over 24 hours; leaving you completely out of this. Though, almost everyone breaks the law. LimeWire, a program not necessarily illegal, is used for mass filesharing. There's something you can look at to see what people are searching; and it moves so quick it's not even funny. A website, RapidLibrary, if you search for something, and then search again quickly, the thing at the side that says "recent searches" won't have your last search. RapidLibrary and LimeWire being the biggest source for free music. -- On second thoughts, can you send me the songs on Rainbow plz?
And yes, I did not keep Love ~Destiny~. Although, on "I am..." I only didn't keep the songs that aren't real songs (well, I didn't even listen to them because short pieces disappoint me, usually for being short)  I Lion Heart I 15:54, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
No problem. ^_^ In what way do you want me to send it to you? email or what? You sure you want only the Rainbow album? I own all of her album including the latest one, you know... =P - SilverSummonerTaLk 16:18, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
I'll ask if I want her other albums ;D. Just need Rainbow for now. To send them to me... there are two ways in which you can achieve this; and one way could give a way a lot of information about me so I won't choose that. Or would I? To email!
BTW, I may seem happy at the moment; I'm severely pissed off and fear I might kill somebody. On top of that I have to spend the night doing coursework. ;_; Yeah talk page stalkers, I'm talking to you.  I Lion Heart I 17:06, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
Nah... :D how bout clicking tis' one? This way, u don't have to tell me your email address and other personal info.. ;D I don't have to tell you mine, either...^_^ Thanks so much for the nice songs you've showed me, btw! ^^
pissed off and kill somebody? o_o kill the stalkers? - SilverSummonerTaLk 00:47, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
That helps; I thought you might have problems with rars and other archiving formats and stuff. The method I was going to suggest was using Windows Explorer (or the equivalent; the way to view folders) to load a page of my website (with some strange URL) where you can copy and paste files too. I find it so easy to use; I sometimes forget I have to be connected to use it. --As for my email address, I'm fine with people knowing it; and my fullname, and my date of birth and even where I live; but not too specific of course. ;D
Anyway; my Music List will eventually be updated with other tracks; possibly all of them. O_O. However I have rather varying tastes in some places... if I like it than other people may too. I mean, I love Trance, but one of my favourite songs is Linkin Park - Numb  I Lion Heart I 16:47, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
^_^ no worries, I won't have problems with rars or zips or whats ^^ Archiving stuff is a piece of cake, compared to my homework and assignments which involve some CSS and Java coding in it. ^^; I found that uploading it to temporary host like mediaFire or 4shared is actually easier and time-saving, though... :P less complicated, too.
O_O updated music list! hopefully you'll include more of Ayu's songs in it! ^^ anyway, about varying music tastes, I also like Namie Amuro - Four Seasons ^^ quite a ballad song, and the tune is just soooo soft. ^^ I only heard bout linkin park, never listened to them tough... =P and.. wow.. they're a nearly-punk band, eh? O_O - SilverSummonerTaLk 01:58, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
That song ain't bad. Really, I can like a song of any genre... except maybe Drum n Bass because Drum n Bass usually just steals great songs and kills them... though I have to say, my brother's interest in Drum n Bass has allowed me to discover two of my favourite songs. :D
But then, I CAN like a song from any genre... but I that doesn't mean I like that genre; whereas with Trance, I'm statistically more likely to like a Trance song if I heard it than if I heard Rap...... my "My Music" folder (the one place I store music because music I store I have to like so I just put them in one place rather than albums or artists) always doesn't respond for a while once opened Busta Rhymes ft. Linkin Park - We Made It and Coolio ft. LV - Gangsta's Paradise are two of only three Rap songs I like.
The Rainbow album isn't as good as her albums before it; still like most of the songs but just not as much. And can I has "Memorial Address"; because it's a "mini-album" I figure it's harder for me to find elsewhere.  I Lion Heart I 17:08, 14 January 2009 (UTC) (EDIT 19:52, 14 January 2009 (UTC): O_O --I just looked at the lyrics to some of the songs when translated... they're beautiful!)
Memorial Address, huh? sure, no problem ^^ I'll give teh link to you later since I'm in school right now. Me, on the contrary, can't find anything appeasing from Heavy Metal, Punk, or Rap, or the like. O_O It's more like a bunch of noisy sounds and speech that is not understandable for me... really. As for the other genre, they're still okay for me, though.. ^^ just please... I beg of you, don't expose me to that kind of song... O_O
"Rainbow" is her first album to not reach 2-million-sales, btw. ^^ The songs in that album are no longer trance-ey... :( they're more pop and rock, although still techno-esque. ^^ I think I've equipped all of the songs with lyrics + translation and their respective album arts? the translation is on the "comment" section on the properties. ^^ You can view the lyrics and translation using Musicmatch Jukebox, btw. ^^ And yes.. Ayu's lyrics are the most beautiful poems ever.. *_* I wonder what our literature fans will say if I show them some of her lyrics translation... ^^.
Oh, and I have a suggestion for your sig, taken from "Never Ever" songs. Moshimo tatta hitotsu dake negai ga kanau nara, kimi wa nani o inoru?" — If only one of your wishes will come true, what will you wish for? sounds so beautiful, no? - SilverSummonerTaLk 01:30, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
EDIT: here it is! ^^ happy listening!. I personally recommend "Ourselves" and "Greatful Days" ^^ - SilverSummonerTaLk 13:12, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
Heavy Metal, Punk or Rap eh? I'll see what I can dig up. :D --Well, if you don't want to know what people are saying listen to "Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit". I actually have it... Weird Al parodied it- if you know who he is.
I read Rainbow is her first to use English lyrics (well, at least ones she wrote). I thought some of her songs sounded a bit too much like English phrases. :D --The reason I like the lyrics is probably due to them not having a rhyme pattern or a tune... I mean, I listen to her songs, and I read the English lyrics, but I can't actually connect the two because I don't understand Japanese; I donno, in Japanese, to me, the vocals are actually an instrument rather than the lyrics. -- Point being, when reading the English from the tracks last night (about twenty-two hours ago, because I hadn't checked the files at that point) they were being spoken rather than being sung. They sounded perty.
Trying to explain myself is hard. So I'll just upload two tunes. I notice the difference between Scooter and Ayu is that though they both have cool tunes; one of them is a female singer, the other is a male speaker; as in just his voice does the job for his works. Scooter is more... I suppose the best way to describe it is hardcore, whereas a lot of J-Pop is more soft.. Just a selection of six pretty varied tracks:
 I Lion Heart I 17:27, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
Nice explanation you have there regarding the lyrics. ^^ Since I only listen to japanese songs, I really have no idea of what's the difference between japanese lyrics and english lyrics. Moreover, I realized that most of the songs I've heard are actually sung by female singers. O_O Lols, I dunno but I prefer female singers to male. no offense or discrimination, though. It's just my personal taste. =P
Most of japanese lyrics are somewhat poetic, though... although there's some of them which are 'starightforward' (you can see this in the songs sung by Morning Musume or the like.. ^^). In addition, they're not just focusing on love and heartbreak; themes like friendship, summer days, loneliness, or 'missing someone' are also used in many lyrics. ^^ Maybe that's why I loved japanese songs... both their lyrics and tunes are just beautiful and have deep meanings. ^^
Since I'm bit lazy to browse imeem, you may wanna check this out. ^^ I just discovered this super-awesome thing, btw. O_O - SilverSummonerTaLk 17:04, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
To get one thing straight: Female vocalists are better. And another thing: wherever in the world, most songs are about love, including heartbreak, loneliness and stuff.
But, it should be noted; female vocalists work better in softer music, whereas "hardcore" tracks (tracks consisting of hard beats, probably because males have the harder voices) is clearly better suited to males; albeit not singing. Male vocalists in softer songs generally suck. Not all the time, but usually things I find are better suited to females. As for person: "Very Japanesey" does seem to describe it best; though I find her voice rather "meh".  I Lion Heart I 17:12, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
Lols! XD It seems that hideco-chin's voice is not within your taste, eh? =P I love her voice, though. ^^
I agree with you with point #1 about female vocalist > male vocalist. In general, I always prefer female vocalist to male ones, regardless of the genre of the songs.. ^^ I don't know about #2... English songs that I've heard are all about love and heartbreak, though.. ^^ - SilverSummonerTaLk 17:19, 16 January 2009 (UTC) EDIT: Why aren't you a Mod or part of the staff, btw? I was just curious.... - 17:31, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
Because I am not part of the staff. Because there are too many staff. Y'see, back in the day, we had admins and "titled users", recently renamed "acknowledged". Basically, the two acknowledged members were the only two acknowledged members who weren't made moderators when rollback came. Then our Bureaucrat CSM modded loads of members. Yuan started most of here editwork three days before me; catching the RC watchers with surprise. TSOD, a user who contributed to mainly forums was promoted by CSM; in his days where he stopped most of his article editing. Uproar started, demoted later. Yuan was promoted to fill the space.
And then from that day onwards, CSM has kinda done nothing. There was the whole HeX vs. CSM battle, which was cool. Anyway, Diablo was promoted to Bcrat too. I actually think Yuan was promoted to rollback after Diablo was promoted to Bcrat.
Therefore, it is because CSM was too trigger-happy with user rights, we are over the top with rollback rights. If CSM stops promoting; and Diablo thinks we have too much, then where's the promotion going to come from. But I don't care. I didn't join the wiki for power, nor does rollback sound that interesting to me. I'm just annoyed we have "acknowledged" members, yet we have no further acknowledgments. Rollback became the new acknowledgment.  I Lion Heart I 18:39, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
Oh, and I just thought I might as well share; "Memorial Address" is good; and "My Story is probably the best. Only deleted "Wonderland", and it wasn't a full track anyway. "Kaleidoscope", though not a full track, is awesome. I think "Replace" is possibly the best although I forget. Not knowing what she's saying doesn't help identify a track; I have to check, but then I forget; there's no lyrics to remember.  I Lion Heart I 21:43, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
Nope, it was "Inspire". Pure class.  I Lion Heart I 22:53, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
Okay... longer explanation than I thought... O_O But that satisfies my curiosity ^^ arigatou gozaimashita for that. ^^ Looks like this wiki has a very interesting history, huh? too bad I didn't get the chance to see it myself since I joined at september... Even without titles whatsoever, you have won my respect, ILHI-kun. And please don't ask me to stop using -kun
Ayu herself said that "My Story" is the album that really her. Therefore its name is "My Story" ^^. I love LOVEppears and "I am..." most. ^^ In "My Story", my favorite is "GAME", the B-side of "Inspire". B-side means that it included in a single when the single is released, therefore "Game" is included in "Inspire" single when it is released. the lyrics, well, still amazingly awesome as usual... ^^ have you listened to "Honey"? while the lyric is still okay, but Ayu's voice is... uh.. O_O weird.
Now that makes me think.. Are you planning to get all of Ayu's album? - SilverSummonerTaLk 00:47, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
I don't remember what "kun" means so I don't mind. I've got "Honey", but I can't remember it, I'll listen to it in a minute. Purchasing Ayu's albums; while I'd love to support the artists I thief from... But I'm planning to "obtain" all of her albums.
Listened to Ayu all of last night. From about 1am until, well now at 9.48am. Now, Honey: Aah yes, thought it would be this one you be referring to. Her voice is different, but not detestable. Woah, I just realised I have 100 of her songs (including remixes). And I still want moar. B-sides are often a pain; ones that aren't on albums. Because they're much harder to "obtain".  I Lion Heart I 09:53, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
O_O You've been listening to her songs for 8 hours?? O_O you've beaten my record, ILHI-kun... My record is 7 hours 20 min 14 sec non-stop listening to ayu songs... ^^; and I thought no one would beat me........ =P congrats, btw. ^^ I hereby acknowledge your victory for beating my record.... ^^
"Honey" is just one of Ayu's songs that I don't really like. Her voice is so different and due to the shock it caused on me, I kinda hate that song. Another one that I don't really like is "Humming 7/4" from My story album. It's just.... O_O btw, good luck on "obtaining" her albums! ^^ "Guilty" is her latest album. While the songs aren't as great as LOVEppears, at least Ayu's photoshoots in the booklet CD are awesome! O_O I really want all of her clothes..... O_O The latest single, "GREEN/Days" are awesome too, btw. ^^ - SilverSummonerTaLk 14:11, 17 January 2009 (UTC) EDIT:I own the B-side of "Depend on You" single. ^^ the title is "Two of Us". ^^ A ballad song, but the lyric makes it an awesome song. 14:14, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
Two of Us is blegh. It sounds too happy. As a general rule, I don't like happy feeling socks* songs; which is why I hate Christmas songs. Humming 7/4 is quite different from her other songs. But I still like it, moreso than some of her others. (Edit: Oh wait, the later part of the song is rather suckish)  I Lion Heart I 14:26, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
Too happy? hmm... Maybe ^^ Then I bet you don't like "Independent", "July 1st", "Greatful Days" and "Blue Bird"? Those songs are summer songs which have rather happy and cheerful tunes. ^^ - SilverSummonerTaLk 14:36, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
Maybe not so much. I don't know most of my songs by name. I mean, before I started listening to Ayu, I only had her remixes and two of her songs; so I could name them all. It'll take me time to learn which song is which. :D  I Lion Heart I 14:40, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
D good luck on recognizing the songs one by one then. :D *reads ur browser war in your userpage* totally agree with you. Firefox > IE. because of the suckness of IE I have to redo my CSS assignment cuz it looked kinda skrewed in IE while it looked fine in Firefox. Skrew teh IE! >_<
Oh btw, I see that you're working on Rihya's idea of random template? :D it sounds interesting.... - SilverSummonerTaLk 14:58, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
Oh, I know how to code it. Random does NOT work. It does not recognise {{{}}} codes enwrapped in them. So it doesn't recognise {{{text}}} and {{{talk}}} as actual required fields. However; there's a way to have them all in one template. Just clever use of the {{#if}} command. The I way I plan to do it is by what field you ask. So if you ask for {{{text}}}, you'll get one template; if you then type in {{{text2}}}, I THINK I could get it to use another template, and the same for {{{text3}}}. Now, the problem might occur that these talk templates have a conflict in the code. This is usually just an unclosed tag, but it could be the way something is coded too. I'm going to try something quick. Y'see, I know the required code, however the code may not comply due to the Talk code itself.  I Lion Heart I 15:06, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
Hmm... That's the code that you put in Q template, right? Then. if you use the code, it's not completely random, right? because we have to put {{{Text}}, {{{text2}}} and such the specify which template that we want to use. sounded like javascript to me... - SilverSummonerTaLk 15:22, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
Well, yeah. I first told dude that random won't work; but he said below me somewhere that it was instead of creating loads of templates. Putting it one works. Albeit, it could make things harder to use because of code complexity. I've just coded it into User:ILHI/Talk and it does work as you can see on dude's talk page.  I Lion Heart I 15:25, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
^^ Yup, I already looked at that. nice one! ^^ that will save many spaces. Still wondering, though.. why can't the random tag recognize the {{{text}}}? - SilverSummonerTaLk 15:29, 18 January 2009 (UTC) one day I shall copy those multiple talk-box template into mine...
The random tag won't recognise the {{{text}}}, the {{{1}}}, the {{{name}}}, or even the {{{04vn}}} because it doesn't recognise any field. I don't actually know the reason. It's not made for templates, and I don't know what it's made for. It might be some kind of java rip; where it can work with some MediaWiki because the MediaWiki makes sense when transformed into HTML, but {{{}}} doesn't make sense with HTML and is exclusive to MediaWiki. So the javascript hasn't been made compatible with the MediaWiki {{{}}}s, perhaps. I don't know, but that's the best idea I can come up with.  I Lion Heart I 15:38, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
I see... in short, MediaWiki software doesn't suport that. ^^ interesting enough... some features in wikipedia doesn't work in Wikia though. for example, the slash trick doesn't work here... - SilverSummonerTaLk 15:51, 18 January 2009 (UTC) seems that you gotta archive your page once again... ^^
Slash trick? A lot of the "tricks" are hidden in CSS and JS. I mean, collapsible tables are practically used at every wiki, but for them to work they have to be coded into the CSS (I think it was CSS anyway) - they're not there by default. Of course, there are many plus sides to Wikia because they have their own stuff... actually, I never check what Wikip can do; the only pages I care about are the pages that have their own wikis, so I add information there, and don't care much for the wikip pages; just reverting vandalism and reforming pages.
And to get passed having to archive again, I've hidden this section. You can see the difference between when its close and when its open. Mainly because people come to me for coding tips, or on the odd occasion, to say how astounded they are of my contributions/contribution speed... and then sometimes ask how I do it too. :D --Point being, I'm not a "social" kind of person, despite what my statistics lead you to believe. (WTF? More user talk edits than talk? That can't be right? Also, the user edits are from all my subpages, and a couple of hundred userpage edits in linking)
(About ten minutes later) Oh shit, I just realised how long this convo actually is. 44kb! I'll keep it hidden until this convo actually comes to an end.  I Lion Heart I 16:15, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
Yup. I noticed that. ^^ btw, I noticed that in Sardapedia, you have a page called function.js. What is it for? is there a wikiSkin named function? -.-a
too bad I can't get enough time to learn all of that wiki stuff... :( they seemed interesting for me, though... :D looks like a good toy to play with. ^^ and I have to admit that talking to a clever person is indeed fascinating. ^^ it's a compliment, btw. - SilverSummonerTaLk 02:28, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
User:ILHI/Functions.js. I use it on most of my wikis. It's not a skin, but a long piece of code I requested. User:ILHI/monobook.js - there should be some code here asking for Functions.js, and some other stuff. Functions.js asks for some code in User:ILHI/Stdsummaries. The things written here doesn't make sense alone. I could screen it; but above my "Summary:" box appears another summary box, albeit, it is a drop down. I open the drop down and choose the standard summary and it appears in the real summary box. It doesn't always help with speed but it means I don't have to think as hard. Other codes I have include removing the adverts, "personal site notices" (adds text to the top of every page, helps me to remember things), and I'm sure there are other things I just forget.  ILHI}} 16:53, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
Wow, I didn't expect the code to do that: To preferences. On another note, cans I has (Miss)Understood plz.  ILHI 17:19, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
O_O didn't know that there's so many things you can do with js... awesome indeed... and seems like a really interesting toy to play with... :D I noticed that some of them are more like javascript for me.. o_o interesting... o_o too bad they didn't teach wiki coding in my school. XD Where did you get the codes from, btw? and where did you find the class and id name for the CSS? is it all in the Common.css? *go take a look...*
(miss)understood? noted. ^^ I'll give you teh link later okay? ^^ I'm still in school... O_O Oh, and this is something for you. click! hope you enjoyed this. >:D - SilverSummonerTaLk 00:29, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
Here it is! click! Enjoy :D oh, and for the lyrics translation, you may want to use, but I'm sure you already know bout this one. - SilverSummonerTaLk 12:26, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
Some of them are more like javascript? You do know "js" stands for javascript or am I interpreting your comment wrong? And (Media)Wiki (I don't know the name for the code but I always call it "MediaWiki", but that's just the software which wikis are created with) is just HTML + templates meaning less copy+paste of big code; and accompanied with JS and CSS. Knowing HTML, JS and CSS means picking up MediaWiki should be very easier. Hey, I know (well, knew) none and I still have managed to attain the rank of "coder".
Koda Kumi song is good. Bit closer the end made me think of Daft Punk. (1) (2) (3).  I Lion Heart I 18:47, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

mistakes were made...[edit source]

...then other larger mistakes.- Dale Gribble

There. Sorry for mocking your ideas. But at least i tried to add something constructive. Exdeath64 05:26, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Maybe you should say "Gomenasai" instead of "Sumimasen"? Sumimasen is more like "excuse me" - SilverSummonerTaLk 05:31, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Hey, it was 9:30 at night where i live when i wrote this. And i got up at 4:30. Its the thought that counts. Exdeath64 06:31, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

'Tis fine. I was in a pissed-off mood yesterday; and still am a bit; but you caught me at the wrong time.  I Lion Heart I 16:48, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Linking[edit source]

Well... actually I just... You see this page? On this lists articles which link to disambiguations. Look at no. 1 on the list: This tells me that Warrior (Final Fantasy) links to Cornelia. I edited the page to link to Cornelia (Final Fantasy); the more accurate link. Redirects are a less important issue; but I like things to be perfect. :D

Basically; when you link, see where you go. If the link doesn't go straight to the page you want to, then make modifications so it goes to the right page.  ILHI 20:44, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
