DS vs. DS Lite[edit source]

Um, I have a problem that's recently come up. Should I get a DS or a DS Lite? If I get the DS, it's a bit bigger but the GBA cartridge will fit fine. If I get a DS LIte, it's smaller, newer, but the GBA cartridge will stick out. Any suggestions?

Whichever's cheaper. Crazyswordsman 04:07, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

Frusion, why are you dumping Wikipedia userboxes?[edit source]

And remember we can put sprites and things in them here. Crazyswordsman 00:45, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

How about I make a "personal userbox", so that people can make non-FF boxes for their user pages (something along the line with what I did with the "I love candy" box on my user page), but without having to upload pictures and templates to the actual FF-wiki? I'll try to make it as easy to use as possible (of course) --Hecko X 00:55, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
Well, uh... the damage is kind of done but if I ever decide to go on a Userbox dumping spree, I'll remember that... I didn't think it'd get you guys upset if I went ahead and did this all at once instead of one per day... --Frusion1021 01:00, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
No worries ^_^ It's not because there's anything wrong with trying to be creative, it's more because it seems kind of "odd man out", if you get what I mean? I'm a fan of userboxes myself (though it might not seem that way), but it's more like, if we start using non-FF related userboxes now, who knows where we'll be once the number of users increase? All kinds of crazy stuff o_o --Hecko X 01:04, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
Uh... >_> I guess this is what happens when I get bored... --Frusion1021 01:06, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
Like I said, no worries ^_^ in a way, you were in your right, as the Userbox description does say you could make a whatever-box for your user page. But would agree to that if I make the personal box, you'll removed those you just uploaded from your page and replace them with the personal box (no worries, I'll help out), so that we can delete the templates you uploaded? This way, we can keep it more FF/Square focused --Hecko X 01:14, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
I suppose I have no choice... --Frusion1021 01:18, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
You always have a choice, it's just not always you, who make it (remember this saying, one day, when you have grand children, you can talk about that day, when you were part of a FF wiki, and your good ol' pal Hecko gave you this little piece of... of... valuable knowledge..? or something). Anyway :P don't think of it as you did something wrong and we're mad at you for it. It's more like, you tested something out, it didn't go completely as planned, but you helped inspire a great idea in stead ^_^ --Hecko X 01:27, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
I........... see.............. --Frusion1021 01:31, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
Never said you had to understand it, just think of it that way :P Truth be told, I wouldn't have thought of the personal userbox-idea, if you hadn't dumped all those templates, so that's what I mean by "inspire blah..." --Hecko X 01:33, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

A response[edit source]

  1. Have you finished the FFTA section yet? There's still the bestiary and walkthrough to do.
  2. True, but they need to be de-wikified. Remember that Fair Use for images doesn't apply here. Images should be sprties or photos. (unless you can't find good ones)
  3. True. And you could copy-paste the coding.
  4. Well, some of them (the gaming ones) should be appropriately imaged and put in the directory
  5. That's good.
  6. No, I'm not PO'd. I just want Wikipedia dumping to be a minimum. And that's for ALL parts of the Wiki. We're trying to distance ourselves as far from Wikipedia as possible. Crazyswordsman 01:19, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

You came to a gaming wiki and expected to include no strategy?[edit source]

Also see Category:Final Fantasy VI Enemies. That's a bestiary. Crazyswordsman 01:34, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

So I basically need to do a section on Tactics Advance enemies and then write up a strategy guide for Tactics Advance? Sounds simple enough... --Frusion1021 01:39, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Your userboxes[edit source]

The Userbox-"holder" thing was not made with the intention of having two userboxes next to eachother, because even though it works out in Firefox, it screws up in IE. I don't mind if you keep it that way, it's just so that you're aware of IE users not being able to see your boxes. --Hecko X 16:51, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Ooh. Didn't know that... If I have them in one single column, then later when I make the table for the 3rd section, the boxes will get in the way. Well, I guess later on I'll add some more information in the userpage to push that section downward and allow the userboxes to be in a column...
And yeah >_> <_< I stole that coding from your page... --Frusion1021 16:57, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
No worries. I'll see what I can do about the Userbox-"holder", so that you can have userboxes next to eachother, just don't expect too much. --Hecko X 17:01, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
Don't worry about it. --Frusion1021 17:05, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Are user firefox and user uncyclopedia staying or going? --Frusion1021 18:40, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Staying. Crazyswordsman 20:39, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

Alrighty, thanks for the tip. But I thought that happened automatically. Oh well. --AuronKaizer 15:23, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

It's his user page[edit source]

So yeah. He can. Crazyswordsman 06:35, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

Sorry about FFTA edits[edit source]

I keep forgetting people think everyone in the whole world uses 1024x768 or higher resolution.
You ever look at the tables in a 800x600 res? It's not pretty.
So I screwed up. Live and learn. Lycentia

Statisticly speaking, only 1 in 5 still uses an 800x600 resolution, and it's usually because their screens don't go any higher (but as people are buying new screens and computers, this number is diminishing). Then again, some people who use it do so because of poor eyesight. Those who use it, but don't have poor eyesight, will most likely get it because of it. So in essence, you're right. It's not the whole world that uses a 1024x768 or higher resolution, only a vast majority of it. --Hecko X 08:11, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

Simple Question[edit source]

I was told by Hecko X to ask you about this, but....Where in blazes does one get that confounded Mission Item known as "Eldagusto"? I have Vermillion AND Gold Vessel, but it says I have half of the required items for this blasted mission. What did I do wrong, and how can I fix?
--LuvLuv G2000 03:01, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

Ooooh! Ok! I thought something was up! Alright, I can have myself and my buddy do a lot of those multiplayer missions. Thank you!
--LuvLuv G2000 23:22, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

Holy crap![edit source]
