Licensing and Categorising Edit

Hi there. Thanks for the FFD images, however you failed to license and categorise when you uploaded. On the upload page I'm sure you saw a Summary box and a Licensing dropdown? Well, what you do is first, check the wiki's existing categories to make sure they're there, then write your categories into the Summary box. For the images you uploaded this would be [[Category:Final Fantasy Dimensions Battle Images]]. And for the license, you would use Generic Fair Use ( {{SECopyright}} ). You can also add these categories and licenses in after uploading by bringing up the image and clicking "Edit" if you ever forget anything; I'm going to do these for your images now.

Don't feel I'm telling you off! It helps us to keep our files organised and also to stop Square Enix from suing our asses. Tia-LewiseRydia - Young battle 19:54, October 23, 2013 (UTC)

You don't use generic fair use template for screenshots, you are supposed to use {{Screenshot|<name of the game>}}. If the image is something other than a screenshot, or it is a screenshot but it has been modified, then use the generic fair use template ({{SECopyright}}).Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 02:26, October 24, 2013 (UTC)
Oops! I can't believe I gave the wrong license...I'm an idiot. Tia-LewiseRydia - Young battle 19:56, October 30, 2013 (UTC)
I'm so confused .-. What license do I use for my FFD screenshots? DrowBlade (talk) 21:48, October 30, 2013 (UTC)
For FFD screenshots you type {{Screenshot|Final Fantasy Dimensions}} to the summary box when uploading (or for images that are already uploaded, just click Edit and put it there).Keltainentoukokuu (talk) 16:59, October 31, 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for the help. I've been making sure to add that into the summary boxes of my FFD image uploads. DrowBlade (talk) 06:14, November 12, 2013 (UTC)

Re: Quick QuestionEdit

We don't use the term 'post game', but 'bonus dungeon' or 'bonus area', and we happen to have an article called "Bonus Dungeon". Also, how is that location's name spellt: "Gladiator's Hall" or "Gladiators' Hall"?—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 17:27, November 12, 2013 (UTC)

The devs put the apostrophe in front of the s when they created the name, so the area name shows up as Gladiators' Hall. DrowBlade (talk) 17:34, November 12, 2013 (UTC)
