Response[edit source]
"are things like Flee, Pray, etc. supposed to link to the section for the particular game? Seems to be done inconsistently." - if the ability has a parent page, like Flee and Pray, then it should link to the page and the section for that game. If it doesn't have a parent, it should link to the List of Abilities/Spells/Whatever page for the game. Doreiku Kuroofangu 17:05, February 10, 2013 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks, I'll try to do that from now on. ~Bobogoobo (talk) 22:57, February 10, 2013 (UTC)
About being blocked on MLP Wiki[edit source]
Bobogoobo, remember how you just blocked me on MLP Wiki today? Well, sorry about breaking the warnings and stuff. I promise I'll never do it again. So could you, like, unblock me since I promised you I won't do it anymore? -- TheSitcomLover 6:41, February 23, 2013 (UTC-7)
- You can still edit your talk page there, so it would be better to ask there than here, which has no relevance. You received the warnings and you can wait out the block like anyone else. If you ask there maybe someone will decide it's been long enough before the three days is up, but I won't be lifting the block myself. ~Bobogoobo (talk) 13:54, February 23, 2013 (UTC)
Thanks! -- TheSitcomLover 6:57, February 23, 2013 (UTC)
In Regards to LyricWiki (which is currently locked for editing)[edit source]
The Wesley Willis song "He Killed A Policeman" has an alternate version that should be added. Lyrics are here in this Google Doc: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1uDt4V5Jy0ECrrQ8ZGCXNd_Y4olEEfB3X4Yllax8AUd0/edit?usp=sharing Just thought I'd let you know, because you are an admin for that wiki. DemonicBeast (talk) 18:33, September 5, 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks for your message, but unfortunately Wikia staff has closed the Lyric Wiki indefinitely, even to admins. They wanted to completely remove any pages that had offensive words in them, users objected, and things were not resolved to staff's satisfaction so they closed the wiki. ~Bobogoobo (talk) 01:50, September 6, 2019 (UTC)
In that case, given that is the state of LyricWiki - might I suggest downloading the xml file for LyricWiki and rebuild it on miraheze.org? It’s a site like Wikia but with a more Wikipedia-like interface. The community I belong to did exactly that when our Wiki was closed. DemonicBeast (talk) 01:56, September 8, 2019 (UTC)
- That's a good idea. It's been a few months, so I'm not sure if someone has already been working on it. I don't really have time to do something like that myself. ~Bobogoobo (talk) 02:19, September 8, 2019 (UTC)
