Re: DoC Boss Images[edit source]
First off, thank you for uploading those boss images to your website, as we wouldn't have had access to those images if it wasn't for you. Until very recently, this wiki's coverage of Dirge of Cerberus was very slim. It would be great if you could help us in that aspect. If you plan on staying, conversing through your talk page is convienient for us, but I can always contact you through your site if you don't respond to this message. If you need to respond to me, you can place a new topic on my current talk page rather than my archives. And to sign your comments, type ~~~~.
I am pleased to be of service to someone out there.[edit source]
It is a pleasure to know that there are people outside of my general visitors that can get something out of my site. I am also pleased to be of service to FFWiki if I can. I have always used Wiki as a means to get release dates, and general reviews from the critics for the titles I cover. I feel I would like to give back in some way. It will take some time to get all the coding you guys do down, because it is vastly different from the coding I use for my own site. But as you can see, I am a pretty quick learner :D Let me know what you might need, and I will do my best to get it going for you.And...thanks for having this site available to the world. It has been a great place to visit, even if there was no reason to. :)--Bahamutskingdom 02:08, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the images, but now I have 46 Images to Categorize! When you upload a picture, you have to add a category. This is said very clearly in the uploading page.
Haha I knew there was a reason I was not sleeping well, and needed to get up again. I am sorry about not categorizing them. I did not see anything to do so when I loaded the images. I was at the time, upset over my site being down for the evening, and thrilled that I finally figured out how to make the images in Wiki show up. When I load the images, it asks to give the image a name, and then article options of: size, width, layout, and caption.I guess I am still confused on how to do so. I will do my best to learn this, before doing so much at once. It also saves my address from getting as many emails =)
Empreor Picture[edit source]
Where did you get that great PSP image? I want to upload more of them O.o
It is possible to categorise as you upload images. Type [[Category:Category name]] in the Summary box before uploading, not when you add the image to articles. Thank you for your contributions.
When you upload a picture, there is a white edit box at the bottom which says "Summery". Write this: "[[Category: Final Fantasy Q Enemy Images]] in there when you're uploading the picture. That's it. No real trick. You do it as you're uploading the picture. You write that in, before you hit the "Upload Picture" button.Or you could go back and edit your picture using the "Edit This Page" tab to get the Category in. That's a little more tedious, but it still works. Either way, it should be done by the uploader.
On images being uploaded...Part II :)[edit source]
I am now more confused than ever on the image thing. I had thought I had gotten it, due to a link appearing that did not before, showing the images I was uploading in their category. This was happening when I was placing a category code provided by 8bit Black Mage, in the summary before uploading the image. But I am guessing that is wrong as well.
I am a very high perfectionist who prides himself on getting things very quickly. But for some reason this is not happening with this. I think the contributions have been liked by everyone, but it iis getting beyond frustrating that I cannot do it right.
When I upload images, there is no summary in that little table. There is only a place to rename the image, size it, and provide a "Caption". The only summary I have seen is at the bottom of the editing box. I figured that was where it was supposed to go.Any advise on what to do would be greatly appreciated.
Its the big white box. It says: "Summery" right next to it. You know what? Give me a moment. I'll make it incredibly clear.
EDIT: Just place the Category right in the circled part:
Blue...this is not what I see. I do not have anything remotely similar to this. And now I see why you are so upset, and I feel like I am at work getting busted for something I did not do. I do not know right off how to write links, but I have made a page on my site, to show what I see. it is:
The top portion shows what I see before loading the image, and the bottom pic shows what I see after. I now also see the problem very clearly. The screen you show is from Internet explorer. I do not use that. I strictly use Firefox. There are many differences in how editors appear between the two...trust me I know this very well. I am sorry to cause you this much grief. I just wanted to help, and take a break from my own sites.
EDIT: Sorry to have removed the pic Blue, but it was massive. Thank you though for keeping the link in. I was not sure how to do that, but wanted the pic to stay, for referencing. It was causing complications with loading, and took the uniformity out. Yuanchosaan found the problem, as well as a solution to it. There should be no worries in it anymore =)And thanks for the assistance everyone here.
Don't worry, everyone has a little trouble at first ;). If I may ask, what skin are you using? That may be part of the problem. I use Monobook (the skin normally seen on Wikipedia).
Don't take anything BH says. He can't even scroll down on a page to check whether he spelt "SummAry" right, not the guy you'd take advice from now, is it? ;D ILHI 15:29, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
Thank you very much for the Deumion pic. I'd been looking for one for so long I pretty much gave up.
My pleasure. I just wish I could get the screen capture file to work, so I can go after the enemy pics for I and II.
My first page created[edit source]
I have made a page to a new boss for Final Fantasy II PSP called Phrekyos I was given a template by ILHI and went to work. I was wondering if it was done right.A second question has popped up while doing this. Deumion is already here as a character for FFII. I know I fought him after defeating Phrekyos, and asking him the keyword Destruction. I do not know the stats, as they are not in the bestiary for the game, and appear as typical strategy guide ???? in that bestiary. Should there be a boss page for him, though it really cannot be determined if that is in fact his classification?
Just go with the "????" approach. That should suffice till we can find out his real stats.EDIT: And may I ask if you could get the Lucifer sprite? I think it's one of the coolest in the game, much better than Astaroth the pink. :)
Sure thing. I will make him my next sprite rip to be placed in.I will do a Deumion page after wards.
Before you start, please note that boss or enemy information goes on a seperate page from the character information. Use a tag such as Deumion (Boss), and link to it from the character page. By the way, if you need any kind of assistance (well...except for HTML assistance, since I can't program whatsoever ^_^;), feel free to ask. I'm always happy to help a member of the wiki ;)
Good Work![edit source]
Nice work on the PSP and DS enemy images!!! =D
I would be pleased to know how do you get them yourself, as I am interested on getting more images from the PSP remakes of the series. Do you use an emulator and photoshop, or do you have a software on your PSP that gives you the ability to get Screens?I also want to ask if you have any availability of obtaining FFIII DS enemy images, specially the Iron Giant one, as it is the only enemy introduced in the remake.
- can play FFIII DS, but is weak when playing FFIV DS. - works better for IV.Google that stuff - You understand why this message is the way it is, do you not?
i'd also like to know how you aquire DS screenshots....
Use an emulator or use a program that allows picture to be taken directly.
Hi there. I was pointed in this direction. I'm interested in finding a way to get the PSP FF1 and 2 sprites up on the Spriter's Resource (www.spriters-resource.com) and I was told you helped rip them. Could you tell me how to rip them? Or maybe even submit them to the site? Thanks for any help! -Tonberry2k
Hi Tonberry2k. I love Spriters Resource. I am sorry about the delay in answering. I have been offline since mid September. I used a program I found on the internet which allowed me to take pics with my PSP. Once I got Crisis Core, and it updated the PSP, it stopped working. I am trying again to find one that works with that update...but no luck as of yet.
Interested in your web design...[edit source]
Sorry I can't be specific online. Please call 480-217-3652 & ask or leave message for Yolanda Jones. Many thanks!
I have tried quite a few times to reach you, but I cannot. You need to turn the phone on, or get back into service area. I think it would actually be better to email me through my website...wouldn't you agree?Bahamutskingdom 21:29, January 27, 2012 (UTC)
X and XII renders[edit source]
Didn't see your question on 8bit's talk page till now. The guy who uploaded the non-bestiary ones is Pmbarbieri, admin on the Italian wiki (although he speaks English quite well, so you can ask him stuff). The bestiary ones are from this guy, not sure where he got them. I just uploaded them here when I saw them, I'm no good with images myself :p. Hope that helps. Oh, and did you still need people to upload images from your site? I'd be willing to do so if you'd like. --Shockstorm (talk) 06:43, July 21, 2013 (UTC)
