I reverted your change to the page's layout. I don't think grouping the weapons like you did really enhanced the page any, and in fact lead to some conflicts, like how even the Generic Daggers vary in which party members can use them, some of Shadow's Daggers can be used by Locke, etc. If you want to discuss or debate this though, I'm quite willing, it was a creative idea worth exploring at least.
Related to such, I do quite like how you've grouped the Relics together. I'm not sure though that the character specific relics each need their own header, since we have the columns at the end of the table to denote who can use them, I think they could all go in one table. Your recent edits
Hey there. Just letting you know I'm not editing your edits because there's anything really wrong with what you've been contributing- it's great that you're contributing to the mainspace at all- but from what I can gather, you're a little inexperienced with our way of formatting. Like, we didn't really need the sortable table, because we don't gain anything from alphabetising the spells, and whenever the name of a Final Fantasy appears in an article, we italicise it. Please don't think I'm telling you off, I'm sort of holding out an offer of assistance here, that is if you want it. Your contributions are highly valuable, so if you'd like some help with how to understand our formatting, don't hesistate to ask, okay? Tia-Lewise 15:40, April 12, 2013 (UTC)
Your main userspace is User:Abacos. You can also have thematical userspace subpage like "User:Abacon/Summons" (without quotation marks) and you can use it for a more personal projects regarding FFWiki. Two popular personal userspace projects are Dissidia-themed characters and coliseums/battle arenas.—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) 19:09, July 2, 2013 (UTC)
Fire job user?
Hiya, I was checking over the Castle Argus article and noticed a very odd addition to the Treasure table, namely this edit done by yourself. I don't believe the extra column is useful so I've removed it; I take it you were just trying to say which job used which item but I think that information would be known by the player once they had reached that location and had those jobs. - Truth is, I just edited an existing etymology. --Abacos (talk) 19:57, October 5, 2014 (UTC)
And please don't make a massive move like that again without discussing it somewhere. Links don't fix themselves, bots and users do. I'm going to move all the pages back until you can make a forum discussing this with the community.-- Technobliterator TC 21:47, February 25, 2016 (UTC)
- Ok, I will leave it alone. Sorry, but for me all the following are slang, or bad English, that is the same: stat (English: statistic), gaming (English: playing), gamer (English: player), and many more. But if the majority of you decides to use them, I will democratically follow. An European commonplace says you cannot expect proper English from Americans... Just kidding! There's plenty of jokes about American being "just bad English" here in Europe. :D --Abacos (talk) 21:54, February 25, 2016 (UTC)
- I know this is probably feeding a troll, but I'll say it anyway: if you ask any linguist what the “status” of slang is, and how it might not be “proper English”, they will condescendingly smile and pat you in the head. They will probably just roll their eyes if you start talking about how Americans ruin English. Fëasindë Peth 22:35, February 25, 2016 (UTC)
