Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip... wait...that's not right. Let me start over...
I suppose unlike the majority that started with the series after '97, my first taste of the games was Final Fantasy Tactics. I believe that was actually 2004. Prior to that time, I had been playing just Mario games on the Super Nintendo, and Pokemon Blue on the Gameboy Color. I can't quite remember what sparked the interest, but as soon as it came about, I was quite hooked. The ability to change job classes on the map, the ability to learn a variety of skills, and even the JP glitch kept me a fan of that game for years.
As I began to help with my parents' place and began to get some money from it, I eventually bought Final Fantasy VIII, IX, and VII in that order from the local Game X Change. Of course, while I managed to get a gist of the stories of each of these games, I wasn't nearly as hooked as I was to Tactics. Tactics Advance was the next game to catch my attention, and shortly after finishing the PS1 edition, the GBA one got its turn of my life. Needless to say, I managed to finish that one as well, but not without many holes in my mission list.
Later, I would obtain Final Fantasy X-2 and get to a point just before the last boss (though I wasn't aware of that) when I managed to get X as well. When I finally finished X, I picked X-2 back up and finished it shortly afterwards as well. In order to get the full story, I started it over, but it wasn't too much trouble. An indecisive person like me had free reign in X-2 the most, where job changing was no obstacle.
The rest... seems to be a blur. I&II, III, IV, V, and VI all came into my lap some time between X-2's second ending and the current day. In fact, I believe I even obtained a copy of VI's SNES appearance as FFIII sometime earlier last year as well. While I've actually still yet to finish any of the main series of the PSX ones, the ability to explore large maps on the SNES/NES series ones were the main reason for me being unable to finish their handheld remakes. For now, I sort of pick them up as I feel like it. Currently, I'm working on my IX save file, and hopefully work backwards. Or something like that.....
As of this moment, I'm just your average page crawler. As I find mistakes and typos, I'll try and correct them. In the mean time, I also frequent Wikimon, which I prefer over the Digimon wikia. As mentioned, IX is my current game goal, with FFT:TWoTL being along as well. Of course, I'm anxiously waiting for any news about the IV remake and TA:2....
