Profile[]
Appearance[]
Tyrrell is a young man with long, short brown hair with his bangs styled upwards and he has pink eyes with a green lower tint. He wears a golden laurel wreath on his head. He wears a purple turtleneck cape that is fastened around his arms and has golden buttons at its ends. He wears golden armor with a left golden spiked pauldron above the cape. He wears long white boot sandals with golden knee pads and golden shin guards. He wears white gloves.
Personality[]
Tyrrell is a polite and energetic young man. Being from Fennes, people who've interacted with Tyrrell have made note that he is an unusually warm person considering their perception of Fennes. It is truly unclear if this aspect of Tyrrell is genuine however, as he was trained in the Serpent's Den and it may be a construct that had been part of their training. However, what is true about Tyrrell is his loyalty, especially his devotion to Vinera.
Tyrrell's devotion to Vinera is so strong that he decided to turn on Fennes in order to help her protect Dario. Dario was someone that Tyrrell had disliked, although after coming to know him, he is amazed by what Dario has accomplished and by Dario's power.
It can also be said that Tyrell is also a bit rebellious, having spared the lives of the soldiers he was supposed to have killed or attempting to save their lives by swaying the conversation from their deaths.
To Burn with Life[]
Ep. 1: To Dario's Quarters I[]
You understand, right Tyrrell? We of Fennes and those of Hourne are like oil and water. If you don't kill them...you would let them kill you?
Fennes Shinobi to Tyrrell
In Hourne Castle, Tyrrell is conversing with Hourne soldiers, the latter of which complement him on his conversation ability. The Hourne soldiers make note that Fennes is a dismal place to live but that if all of its citizens were like Tyrrell, they'll be eager to provide them a warm welcome.
In the midst of conversation, a Fennes shinobi appears in the room. The shinobi informs Tyrrell that now is the time, as Tyrrell confirms that it's time to assassinate Dario. The Hourne soldiers confront Tyrrell and mention that what he's said was treasonous. The shinobi threatens the soldiers and more shinobi appear in the room. Tyrrell tries to stop them from attacking the soldiers however the shinobi retorts Tyrrell and says that he was the one who led them to Hourne Castle. The Hourne soldiers express their anger and disappointment at Tyrrell's deception and ready their swords. Tyrrell backs away to the shinobi's side and the shinobi reassures Tyrrell that Fennes and Horne are like oil and water. The shinobi asks if Tyrrell would let them kill him, with Tyrrell hesitating and mentioning he wouldn't. Tyrrell and the shinobi ready their swords against the Hourne soldiers.
After defeating the Hourne soldiers, the shinobi go to make quick work of their objective while Tyrrell stays behind and apologizes to the fallen soldiers. Tyrrell says he won't fatally wound them as a soldier coughs groggily. The shinobi calls for Tyrrell and he leaves the soldiers.
Tyrrell reports to the shinobi who notices that Tyrrell went easy on the soldiers, being able to deduce that from Tyrrell's demeanor. The shinobi tries to warn Tyrrell if he keeps acting like that but Tyrrell retorts him by saying their objective is to assassinate Lord Dario, why should they also eliminate the Hourne soldiers who were just moments ago, their allies? The shinobi disregards Tyrrell's sentiments and tells him that once the mission is over, they will be sending him back to the Serpent's Den for further training. Tyrrell is silent as the shinobi make their way to Vinera and Dario's room. Tyrrell ponders for a bit but follows them.
Ep. 3: Traitors I[]
If someone is important to you, Vinera...then that person is important to me, too!
Tyrrell to Vinera
With the plot to assassinate Dario coming into fruition, Vinera and Dario are confronted by Doluza and Fennes shinobi. Tyrrell runs into the scene and wonders why they're attacking Vinera, with a Shinobi mentioning she had decided to betray Fennes. Doluza warns Vinera to finish Dario off however she refuses to do so.
Dario tells Vinera to survive for her sake but she refuses, stating that she and Dario will together if they must. Tyrrell walks up to Vinera and is aghast at her decision to betray Fennes. Vinera tells him that he will come to understand her intentions if he falls in love someday. She tells Tyrrell to move aside, with Tyrrell asking her if she has any regrets. She says she regrets nothing and Tyrrell walks by her side, confronting the Fennes along with her and Dario. Vinera is shocked by his actions and Tyrrell states that if it's important to Vinera, it is important to him too.
Tyrrell tells Vinera that they need to hold on for reinforcements from Hourne, however Doluza mentions that the forces of Hourne in the castle were already dealt with. The trio is then forced to fight their way through the castle roaming with Doluza's forces and the Fennes shinobi.
Ep. 5: A Flickering Life I[]
But I'd heard that you were just a coward who never once stepped foot on the battlefield...
Tyrrell to Dario
Upon being surrounded by the Fennes shinobi, Dario unleashes his limit burst which wipes out an entire platoon. Tyrrell is amazed by Dario's ability and wonders why rumors of Dario's cowardice remains prevalent if he's able to show such a brilliant display of power. Dario starts coughing madly, with Tyrrell asking about his condition. Dario tells Tyrrell he does not have much time to live, with Doluza exposing the truth of Dario's statement. Doluza pontificates on what's to become of Vinera following Dario's passing. Vinera states that she would rather die than live in a world without Dario, with Dario being heavily against it.
Doluza offers Tyrrell an opportunity to redeem his traitorous actions, allowing him and Vinera to live happily if they kill Dario. Vinera tells Tyrrell that she will turn her sword at anyone who hurts Dario, mentioning that even if Tyrrell did kill Dario, Fennes wouldn't pardon his actions. Dario tries to speak but he coughs madly and falls to the floor. Doluza sees an opening and calls the shinobi to attack the trio. Tyrrell makes up his mind to protect Dario for Vinera, no matter what the cost.
Ep. 8: More Like a Prison[]
W-we've already said that we can't! It seems like we've dealt with the main force, but staying inside the castle is clearly safer! If we go outside, we don't know where an attack could come from!
Tyrrell to Vinera
After routing the shinobi, Vinera carries Dario to a nearby pillar, with Dario stating that he wants to go outside. Vinera and Tyrrell tell him that he cannot, with Dario retorting that being in the castle is like a prison. He begs Vinera to help him, to which she agrees. Vinera asks Tyrell to cover for them while Dario contemplates on his sister, Machérie. Vinera goes silent as Dario mentions that Machérie was probably already wed to Muraga but prior to that, she had been crying for three days and nights about it. Had he not chosen to withdraw from the battlefield, he felt that his brave and proud sister would not have had to go through that. Vinera retorts him, mentioning that she should have also mentioned to him that she was not Muraga's daughter. Doluza catches up to the trio with his shinobi and engages them in combat.
Ep. 10: Freedom[]
Tyrrell accompanies Dario and Vinera as Dario mentions that he's lost his sight. The trio are once again confronted by Doluza and engages the trio in battle.
After Doluza is defeated, Tyrrell stands guard and watches from a distance as Dario and Vinera share an intimate moment. After Dario passes away, Tyrrell approaches the grieving Vinera and tells her to keep moving as he sees someone coming. Tyrrell runs away and Vinera follows suit.
