Two Headed Dragon, also known as 2 Head D., is a boss from Final Fantasy III. It is located in the in the final area, the World of Darkness, at the northeast portal. Two Headed Dragon is one of the four guardians of the Dark Crystals the Cloud of Darkness orders to kill the Warriors of the Light. It guards the Fire Crystal of the Dark World.
Stats
Battle
The Two Headed Dragon relies on his powerful physical attacks that may inflict Silence, which can be diffused through the Protect spell. The Two Headed Dragon has no magical or special attacks. In the original version, it will kill one team member each turn, sometimes reaching the 9999 cap (32x hits), unless the player uses the Safe spell.
Strategy
It is best to use armor and helmets that have more Defense than Magic Defense. A Viking can be used to full effect, due to its ability Provoke. When combined with two shields, attacks will be drawn towards it, and the Viking will take minimal damage.
