The Twin Liger is an enemy from Final Fantasy III. A two-headed feline fiend, it has a purple skin and each of its heads has a different colored mane; red and green. It is found in the sewers of Amur, and is only marginally more powerful than the earlier Twin Heads enemies in the Cave of Tides.

Etymology[]
The liger is a hybrid cross between a male lion (Panthera leo) and a tigress (Panthera tigris). Thus, it has parents with the same genus but of different species.
