Tough Ring, originally known as Touph Ring is an accessory in Final Fantasy VII that provides +50 Vitality and Spirit, the best defensive stats for an accessory in the game. It is a missable accessory due to being available only twice in the game, both as steals from boss fights.

Tough Ring is an easily missable accessory, being stolen from an optional boss fight, and from a boss fight that can be skipped. It is a strong defensive accessory, providing excellent Vitality and Spirit to the user, and is a suitable substitute if the player does not have a Ribbon or Sprint Shoes. It is advised to equip it to a character in the front row if the player decides to have anyone there so they take less damage while still being able to deal full damage with their weapon attacks.
