Toshiyuki Itahana (板鼻 利幸, Itahana Toshiyuki?) is a game director and character designer for Square Enix. He was responsible for introducing the "little child", or chibi style, to the Final Fantasy series. He worked as a character designer alongside Hideo Minaba for Final Fantasy IX. He currently serves as the main character designer for the both the Crystal Chronicles and Chocobo spin-off series.
Itahana has directed two games at Square Enix. The first is Code Age Commanders, an Action RPG for the PlayStation 2 that was released in 2005. His second game as director was Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers, an Action RPG released for the Wii in 2009.
