Tools is Edgar Roni Figaro's special ability in Final Fantasy VI. It allows him to use various machines to create various effects. Tools are found as items as the quest progresses, and there are eight total tools.

AutoCrossbow
Noiseblaster
AutoCrossbow
The AutoCrossbow deals physical damage to all opponents. Its Battle Power is 125, and it is unblockable and ignores Split Damage.
It is obtained automatically when Edgar joins.
NoiseBlaster
The NoiseBlaster causes Muddle to all opponents. It is unblockable, but fails on opponents immune to Muddle.
It can be purchased in Figaro Castle and South Figaro.
Bio Blaster
Bio Blaster
The Bio Blaster deals poison-Elemental damage and inflicts Poison on all opponents.
Its Spell Power is 20, and it is unblockable and ignores Split Damage.
Drill
It can be purchased in Figaro Castle and South Figaro.

The Drill deals physical damage to one opponent.
Its Battle Power is 191 and it is unblockable and ignores defense.
It can be purchased in Figaro Castle after the Narshe battle sequence.
Flash

The Flash deals non-elemental magic damage and inflicts Dark on all opponents.
Its Spell Power is 42, and it is unblockable and ignores Split Damage.
It can be purchased in Figaro Castle after the Narshe battle sequence.
Chain Saw
Chain Saw
The Chain Saw will do one of two things. There is a 75% chance that it will deal unblockable defense ignoring physical damage to one opponent with 252 Battle Power. There is a 25% chance that it will cause instant death to one opponent which will not revive the undead. This attack is unblockable but will fail on enemies immune to instant death. It can be found in the "Inn" in Zozo by setting the clock to read 6:10:50.
Debilitator
Debilitator
The Debilitator assigns a random Elemental weakness to one opponent. It is unblockable. It can be purchased from Figaro Castle in the World of Ruin, but it can also be stolen as a rare item from the Right Crane and the MissleBay.
Air Anchor
Air Anchor
The Air Anchor causes instant death to one opponent the next time it attacks. It is unblockable and ignores the Stamina Check, but fails on enemies immune to instant death. It is found in a secret room in the Tower of Fanatics that can only be reached by using a hidden switch in the wall of the room with the Safety Bit. The Air Anchor room appears on the floor below.
