Template:FFV Enemies Template:See Also The Tonberry is an enemy in Final Fantasy V. The Tonberry does its routine of advancing towards the party, then when in the closest distance, uses Cleaver to deal critical damage regardless of Defense.
Dark Flare, a magic spell in Dark Arts technique usable by Necromancers, can be learned if a Tonberry is killed by a Necromancer.

Tonberry is fought on Palamecia Desert. It uses knife and drops the Ichigeki weapon. Its description reads: These fiends lurk in darkness, slowly drawing near those whose eyes meet theirs.
