Tobli responding to Rikku
Tobli is a highly-excitable stage producer in Final Fantasy X-2. He speaks incredibly fast and adds "Yup-Yup" to the end of his sentences. He thinks highly of Yuna, although not for her defeat of Sin, but rather, for her ability to draw a crowd.
Story
Tobli awards YRP a sphere for saving his assistant.
The Gullwings meet Tobli in Chapter 1 on Kilika Island if he has not been encountered at the Moonflow. The Gullwings' first mission concerning Tobli is at the Moonflow, where he is awaiting the arrival of one of his Hypello assistants. Yuna and her company offer to escort him and the supplies for the show and can help with the production from locating the three musicians in the Macalania Woods, to selling the tickets. Later on, they can also perform if the show turns out to be a success.
Tobli's office, Tobli Productions, is located in Guadosalam where the Al Bhed try to break in to receive payment for the failed show in Chapter 3.

When the Gullwings put on a concert in the Thunder Plains to lift the spirits of the people of Spira, they ask Tobli to produce it. Tobli is on the run from his Al Bhed shareholders, and leads the girls on a chase through the Moonflow, determined to avoid paying his bills. He hijacks an Al Bhed machina hover, crashing into a billboard. He makes his way to the North Bank where he hides on top of a tree. One debt collector hits a tree, thinking that Tobli climbed on it. Suddenly, Tobli falls off the tree and knocking the man out, before making a run for it again. While the last shareholder chases him, Tobli calls a shoopuf which scares the shareholder off. The shareholder finally gives up, saying that he'll collect some other time. The Gullwings reach Tobli at the Guadosalam entrance where they tell Tobli that he'll become the producer of their concert. He chooses the Thunder Plains as the location due to its vastness. He then calls his Hypello employees to advertise the concert by talking to people throughout Spira. Moments before Yuna begins her concert, Tobli is in the Celsius where he asks Yuna if she is ready to perform.
Three months later, Tobli partners up with Barkeep, but have a hard time finding a suitable performer after their first success with Yuna.

Voice
In the English version, Tobli is voiced by Rob Paulsen, who also voiced Donatello in Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtles series, Nicolai Technus and Jack Fenton in Danny Phantom, Birdbrain in T.U.F.F. Puppy, Mark Chang in The Fairly Odd Parents, Gordon Quid in Catscratch, Reuben in the Lilo and Stitch franchise, and Carlton "Carl" Wheezer and Eustace Strych in Jimmy Neutron.
