As Glauca, he is a murderous man, having killed many, including the queen of Tenebrae, Sylva Via Fleuret. While he is the Supreme Commander of the Niflheim Army, Glauca prefers to fight on the battlefield with his troops. Glauca seems to have no major distinction between friend or foe, as he is willing to kill Deputy High Commander Ravus Nox Fleuret as he tries to wield the Ring of the Lucii. As noted by Nyx Ulric during the later stages of the invasion of Insomnia, Glauca lingers in the past, having mentioned that he lost his home to a Niflheim invasion decades ago and does not care whom he fights for. He seems to have a level of bond with Nyx, as instead of killing him after having him beaten, Glauca reprimands Nyx for still serving Regis, implying he has a level of desire to make Nyx join him and turn away from Lucis. At the end, as he lays mortally wounded, Glauca seems to have accepted Nyx's cause, looking a bit hopeful when Nyx reminds him of how thanks to him, both Nyx and Glauca's homes have hope.

Abilities
Drautos is a skilled swordsman who demonstrates amazing strength, speed, and durability when adorned in the armor of Imperial General Glauca.

Abilities
General Glauca is an immensely powerful foe, and while his suit of armor appears heavy, he moves extremely fast thanks to his reflexes and jet boots on his legs. He can land on places meters below him by slowing his descent, and jump great distances, minimizing or even nullifying damage he would have otherwise taken. His armor is made from state-of-the-art Niflheim liquid metal technology, which allows it to regenerate from damage and increase his physical attributes tremendously. He is a master swordsman, able to down multiple opponents with one swing, killing Clarus Amicitia by throwing his own sword into his back after flinging him at a wall, and even upending a car that had run him down.

One of Glauca's primary strengths is his endurance. He survived King Regis's attacks when Niflheim invaded Tenebrae, and later withstood the attacks of Regis and the Lucian Council, several of Regis's lightning attacks, and Libertus Ostium running him over with a car at full speed, the latter an experience that he appears to be unarmored for a portion of time. Even Nyx Ulric's magic attacks and heightened abilities granted by the Ring of the Lucii, direct attacks by the Old Wall, several explosions from the Diamond Weapons and airships, collapsing buildings, falls from great heights, and a final stab wound to the chest only does enough to make him collapse by the end of the invasion of Insomnia.

King Regis deliberates over whether to accept Niflheim's peace treaty. Regis wants to keep his son safe, and decides to send him away from the city before the signing ceremonies. Now working as Glauca, Titus abducts Lunafreya during a party celebrating the signing of the peace treaty. Nyx rescues her, and later finds Glauca fighting King Regis and Clarus Amicitia, the Shield of the King. Glauca kills Amicitia and cuts the Ring of the Lucii from King Regis's hand, a magical heirloom that has allowed the monarch to shield Insomnia from imperial invasion with a magical Wall. As the Wall falls, imperial forces storm the city. Glauca pursues the Lucian monarch, who flees with Nyx and Lunafreya. As Drautos, he contacts Nyx and orders him to go to Section D of the city. This turns out to be a trap, and through Libertus's intervention, it is revealed Drautos is Imperial General Glauca. He battles Nyx who gained the power to command the statues of the Old Wall from the Ring of the Lucii. Libertus flees Insomnia with Lunafreya and the ring. Glauca is severely wounded when Nyx stabs him in the chest with his kukris. Though not directly shown as having died, Ravus replaces him as High Commander of the Niflheim Magitek Army and Drautos is never heard of again.

As captain of the Kingsglaive, Drautos holds his soldiers to the same unforgiving high standards to which he holds himself and trained Nyx in the art of combat. His respect can only be earned with blood, sweat and tears.

Titus's secret identity is General Glauca (グラウカ, Gurauka?), military supreme commander and magitek infantry leader of Niflheim. As Glauca, he is an intimidating man cloaked in detailed liquid metal armor[1] with purple-magenta highlights and jet boots that allow him easy movement.

Drautos's theme color is red, the color of the empire, and the developers purposely put red in Drautos's gear.[2] It also contrasts with Nyx, whose color is blue.

Personality

For hearth and home.

Drautos's catchphrase.

Drautos is just as hard on himself as he is on others. His respect is difficult to earn, and he tends to dwell on the past.

Glauca FFXV Profile Image

General Glauca.

As Glauca he is murderous, having killed many, including the queen of Tenebrae, Sylva Via Fleuret. While he is the Supreme Commander of the Niflheim Army, Glauca prefers to fight on the battlefield alongside his troops. Glauca seems to have no major distinction between friend or foe, as he is willing to kill Deputy High Commander Ravus Nox Fleuret when he tries to wield the Ring of the Lucii.

Glauca lingers in the past, having lost his home to a Niflheim invasion decades ago and does not care whom he fights for. He seems to have bonded with Nyx, as instead of killing him when he has the chance he reprimands Nyx for still serving Regis, implying he would like Nyx to join him and turn away from Lucis. At the end, as he lays mortally wounded, Glauca seems to have accepted Nyx's cause when the latter points out that thanks to him, both Nyx and Glauca's homes have hope.

Abilities

Drautos is a skilled swordsman who demonstrates amazing strength, speed, and durability when adorned in the armor of Imperial General Glauca. While his suit of armor appears heavy, he moves fast. Due to his jet boots can land on places meters below him by slowing his descent, and jump great distances. His suit of armor is made with the state-of-the-art Niflheim liquid metal technology, which allows it to repair itself and increase his physical attributes tremendously. He is a master swordsman, able to down multiple opponents with one swing, and even upending a car that runs him down.

One of Glauca's primary strengths is his endurance. He survivesz King Regis's attacks when Niflheim invaded Tenebrae, and later withstood the attacks of Regis and the Lucian Council, several of Regis's lightning attacks, and Libertus Ostium running him over with a car at full speed. Even Nyx Ulric's magic and heightened abilities granted by the Ring of the Lucii, direct attacks by the Old Wall, blasts from the Diamond Weapons and airships, collapsing buildings and falls from great heights don't hinder him. He is finally killed by a stab through the chest.

Story

For the honor of my home, I fought and killed under a king I loathed. And still, he betrayed me. He betrayed us all.

Titus Drautos

Titus hails from from a small village in the northeastern archipelago of the Cavaugh Region. He lost his hometown in the war of 30 years ago.[1] At some point, he began working for the empire as General Glauca, and under this pseudonym became the high commander of the imperial army. When Niflheim attacked Tenebrae in an attempt to kill King Regis and his young son, Prince Noctis, Glauca murdered Queen Sylva. Regis and Noctis escaped, but Tenebrae was annexed to the empire and its prince and princess fell into imperial custody.

Twelve years later, on the outskirts of Lucis, Titus Drautos leads the Kingsglaive in a battle against the combined forces of Niflheim and Tenebrae. He orders his soldiers to retreat when a Diamond Weapon is deployed, a colossal magitek armor. Nyx Ulric ignores him to rescue a fellow Glaive, Libertus Ostium. After the enemy withdraws, either being ignorant or uncaring of Libertus being lost if his order were obeyed, Drautos berates Nyx and tells him to await reassignment.

After the Kingsglaive returns to the Crown City of Insomnia, Drautos orders Crowe Altius to infiltrate Tenebrae and rendezvous with Princess Lunafreya. He places Nyx on guard duty for a short time, and later makes him the princess's protector. When Crowe's murder is discovered, Drautos bequeaths her belongings to her friends Nyx and Libertus.

King Regis deliberates over whether to accept Niflheim's peace treaty. Regis wants to keep his son safe, and decides to send him away from the city before the signing ceremonies. As depicted in Final Fantasy XV Prologue Parting Ways, Ignis Scientia drives Noctis to meet the king the day before his departure in the Audi R8 Star of Lucis; they use Noctis's car because Captain Drautos wants to use it to ferry guests to the treaty-signing ceremony later.

In the Citadel Captain Drautos is waiting to meet them, but to their surprise, Drautos tells Ignis and Noctis they can't see King Regis that day because he is too busy with the treaty-signing preparations. Drautos has Nyx drive Noctis back to his apartment in the city as thanks for letting them use his car.

As depicted in Final Fantasy XV, Drautos is with King Regis when the latter sends Noctis and his retinue on their way to Altissia for Noctis's wedding with Lunafreya. Noctis asks Drautos to take care of his father before departing.

Glauca and Regis

Behold the king of Lucis, who hoarded tranquility within his precious walls. Where is your tranquility now, king? Here, is your peace, by steel's swift descent.

Glauca pursues the Lucian monarch who flees with Nyx and Lunafreya. Catching up to King Regis, Glauca murders him and continues after Nyx and the princess, the latter now carrying the Ring of the Lucii.

Kingsglaive Glauca SS

Unveiled Glauca chokes Nyx.

As Drautos, he contacts Nyx and orders him to go to Section D of the city. This turns out to be a trap, and through Libertus's intervention, it is revealed Drautos is Imperial General Glauca. He battles Nyx who has gained the power to command the statues of the Old Wall from the Ring of the Lucii.

When Noctis arrives in the ruins of Insomnia ten years later, he recovers Nyx's weapons from a powerful daemonpsychomancer. Whether this is what became of Drautos is unknown, but the last time Nyx had his kukris was when he plunged them into Glauca.

Etymology

Titus was the emperor of Rome from 79 to 81 AD. He was a renowned military commander and the first Roman emperor to succeed the throne from his biological father.

A man named Titus is also the addressee of an eponymous epistle found in the New Testament. Scholars believe that the Book of Titus was scribed by St. Paul. It provides guidance on the role of bishops in the burgeoning Church.

Glauca is derived from Glaucus, a Greek name meaning "greyish blue," "bluish green," or "glimmering."
