A titanic summon recreated in virtual reality. Legend has it this gargantuan being unleashed an earthquake so great that it caused the entire continent to rise from the seafloor, thereby creating the grasslands as they are known today.

Titan is the most simple of the summon boss fights. Titan uses a mix of physical and magical non-elemental attacks at melee range. Every now and again Titan will activate Earthen Aegis to create a barrier that makes him resistant to most forms of damage. While in this state there is a new target on his back, which the player can damage to dispel the effect quickly. Titan is weak to 
Wind, meaning 
Wind Materia is vital. The Chocobo & Moogle summon is also recommended due to their wind affinity.
Etymology[]
The Titans (οἱ Τῑτᾶνες, hoi Tītânes) were members of the second order of divine beings in Greek mythology. They were descendants of the primordial deities born from the Chaos, and they preceded the gods of Olympus, who went on to overthrow them.
