Tigerclaw (虎爪のフレイル, Kosō no Fureiru?, lit. Tiger Claw Flail) is a recurring weapon in the Final Fantasy series. It is a rod associated with Oerba Dia Vanille.

Tigerclaw is Vanille's tier one handicap weapon purchased for 300,000 gil from Gilgamesh, Inc.. Its Leadenstrike passive ability has Vanille's ATB fill rate 70% slower. It is part of the Adamancy synthesis group that lets her absorb 1% of damage dealt to enemies as HP. It takes 20,100 EXP to max out and upgrades into a Wyrmfang with a Cobaltite. Its Strength and Magic are even and max out at 198, making it a strong weapon.

Etymology

[view · edit · purge]The tiger (Panthera tigris) is the largest cat species, reaching a total body length of up to 3.38 m (11.1 ft) over curves and exceptionally weighing up to 388.7 kg (857 lb) in the wild. Its most recognisable feature is a pattern of dark vertical stripes on reddish-orange fur with a lighter underside.
