The Tiger is a boss in Final Fantasy VI. It is fought as part of the second tier of the Statue of the Gods final boss gauntlet alongside Power, Machine, and Magic.

Stats[]

Battle[]

Tiger is the most dangerous opponent in the second tier. It uses Southern Cross and Flare Star regularly, doing heavy damage to the entire party, and Northern Cross, which has a chance to inflict frozen on to a party member. When Tiger falls below 11,520 HP, it will use its special attack, Zombie Fang, inflicting Zombie Zombie on a party member.

Strategy[]

Due to its dangerous attacks, it should be defeated first. Flare, Blizzaga, and Ultima spells are most effective. Lv.5 Death can be used to kill it and Machine instantly, as it bypasses their immunities, leaving only Power and Magic to deal with.
