Commander Tieger

Commander Tieger, also known as Commander Teager (ティーガー, Tīgā?), is an officer of the Order of the Crimson Blades in Vagrant Story. Alert and agile, in spite of his appearance, Commander Tieger is a proud, powerful knight who carries great respect for his comrades.

Story

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow. (Skip section)

Tieger accompanies Romeo Guildenstern during the Crimson Blades' assault on Leá Monde. He works with Lady Neesa during their combined attack on Ashley Riot, but is defeated.

Later, when the two run into Ashley again, they also meet an undead Father Grissom who is driven insane by the dark powers of the city, and is convinced to attack his former allies. The three Crimson Blades go off and fight and when they return, Tieger holds off the crazed Grissom so that his ally, Neesa, can survive to tell the tale of what happened in Leá Monde. He is killed along with Grissom when the city collapses upon them.

Commander Tieger is fought as a boss in the Undercity. He fights along side Commander Neesa.

• One of the artwork for the game shows Ashley, Tieger, and Neesa adventuring together. Since this situation never happens, it is assumed Tieger and Neesa were meant to become playable in the two-player or AI-controlled options that were removed during development.
