Son of the legendary blitzball player Jecht, Tidus is a blitzball ace in his own right. While generally upbeat and gung-ho, he has a sentimental side as well.
Character profile.
Tidus is a playable character in Final Fantasy Record Keeper, representing Final Fantasy X.
Acquisition methods[]
Tidus is one of only two units that could be obtained as a pre-registration reward in the first week of the game's release, the other being the Core Warrior. He was later available during the Challenge Event Operation Mi'ihen as a First Time Reward for completing Command Center - Operations Control on the Classic difficulty track of that event. He has also appeared in Defying Fate, Destiny's Path, This is Our Story and A Dream for Spira.
Overview[]
Tidus is a Guardian, whose combat role is Physical Speed.
Tidus is a warrior with good all-around physical stats and high Speed. His skills are aimed at striking quickly or for high damage. Tidus is one of the best characters, simply because he has access to both Rank 5 Combat and Celerity, letting him pull of the devastating Powerchain-Full Charge combo, which rivals early Super Soul Breaks and Burst Soul Breaks in terms of damage per second. With a range of thrown weapons, he can easily switch from close combat to attacking at a distance as needed. However, Tidus has an affinity for water-elemental skills that have limited usefulness throughout the game.
