Thunder Breath (サンダーブレス, Sandā Buresu?), also known as Breath, Lightning Breath, Shocking Breath, Bolt Breath, and Thunder Bracelet, is a recurring type of Lightning-elemental Breath in Final Fantasy series.
Thunder Breath, used by the Red Dragon and Blue Dragons with an ally with the Monster Skill ability is next to it, deals Lightning-elemental damage, is a slightly ranged attack, going two squares ahead.

Thunder Breath I-III are magic attacks available only to Morrow to use. The abilities can only be learned from the Typhon signet. All Thunder Breath abilities deal moderate wind-elemental magic damage to all enemies and deals extra damage against machine-type enemies. The abilities cost 29 MP to use.
In the original free-to-play versions of the game, Thunder Breath I-III could be used by any party member equipped with the Thunder Breath-type versions of the Byakko and Wind Witch signets. Each version of the spell dealt more damage depending on the summon's rank and had increased MP costs for each version of the spell.
In addition, a stronger version known as Thundaga Breath is also available to Morrow. Thundaga Breath I-III can only be learned from the Ahriman signet. The ability deals heavy wind-elemental magic damage to all enemies and deals extra damage against machines. All versions of Thundaga Breath cost 63 MP to use.
Both Thunder Breath and Thundaga Breath have no cast time and activate the moment when selected.
