Thunder Breath (サンダーブレス, Sandā Buresu?), also known as Breath, Lightning Breath, Storm Breath, Plasmabreath, Shocking Breath, Bolt Breath, and Thunder Bracelet, is a recurring type of Lightning-elemental Breath in Final Fantasy series.

Appearances

Final Fantasy VIII

Breath inflicts Lightning-elemental damage if used by Grendel. Storm Breath, used by Elnoyle and Elvoret, inflicts non-elemental damage to the party. It is used every 6th turn for Elnoyle (or 3rd for Elvoret).

Final Fantasy X

Lightning Breath used by Fafnir inflicts Lightning-elemental damage to the party.

Thunder Breath used by Kusariqqu inflicts moderate Lightning-elemental damage to the party.

Final Fantasy X-2

Breath used by Bolt Drakes inflict Lightning-elemental damage to the party.

Description

Thunder Breath is the level 4 ability of the Dragoon class, requiring 90 AP to learn. At the cost of 10 MP, the user will inflict Lightning-elemental damage to all enemies.
