Thunder Bomb is an enemy in Final Fantasy Type-0 and is the most common member of the enemy family with the same name. A second, larger version of the Thunder Bomb appears, though curiously, it shares stats with the Perkunas, another larger enemy and member of the same enemy family.

Thunder is the sound caused by lightning. Depending on the distance and nature of the lightning, thunder can range from a sharp, loud crack to a long, low rumble (brontide).
A bomb is an explosive weapon that uses the exothermic reaction of an explosive material to provide an extremely sudden and violent release of energy.
