Thundaga is lightning-elemental Black Magic spell in Final Fantasy XI. It is the first tier of the Black Mage's area-of-effect Thundaga spells, functioning as a group version of the default Thunder spell. The spell deals lightning damage to targets.
Thundaga II and III exist in the game for Black Mages, while Thundaga IV and V exist as enemy exclusive Black Magics.

The spell can be learned from a scroll of Thundaga, which can be bought from Chutarmire in Selbina and Hilkomu-Makima from Windurst Waters, with the latter area's availability being dependent on national influence in conquest. In addition, it can also be purchased from the player Auction House under the Black Magic category.
Mechanics[]
Thundaga is an upgraded version of the original Thunder spell. It may be learned by Black Mages at level 36. When cast, it will deal Lightning-based elemental damage to all enemies in the targeted area for 105 MP. It takes 2 seconds to cast and can be recast every 5 seconds.
