The Three Valleys is a location in the middle of Leide in Final Fantasy XV. It is an arid area that has animal skeletons and the weather commonly changes to a sandstorm while here. It has remains of ruined buildings and infrastructure around, but at the time of the game the area is abandoned and populated by wildlife. The player can explore it to find treasures, procurement points and mineral deposits. The party meets David Auburnbrie in an abandoned building in the area in Chapter 1, which in post-game hosts a new recipe for Ignis.
The weather can be either clear or sandstorm.

There is also a procurement point for Birdbeast Eggs and a mineral deposit that yields Silver Dust, Gold Dust and Prismatic Dust.

Scraps of Mystery V[]
Northwest from the westernmost "valley" of the Three Valleys area are the remains of a building next to a segment of piping. The map is in the debris beneath it and marks a spot west of Longwythe Peak. The treasure is in a dip in the middle of a big rock to the west of the quest marker.
Regalia racing[]
Hoo-wee! You were movin' like greased lightning!
Cashier
In the Windows and Royal Editions the player can race against time on the Regalia Type-D after modifying the car in Chapter 8 by accepting a quest from the Hammerhead body shop. The cashier from the Hammerhead shop will host the races, and if the player completes the course within the time limit, they get another modification for the Regalia. Regalia needs to be in Type-D to take on the course, but talking to the clerk changes the car to Type-D if it wasn't in that mode already.
The race is called Great Leiden Run and needs to be finished within a generous time limit; players can generally manage it even if they go out of course and bump into rocks and trees. The player can do the course in any time of day and in any weather, which can change during the race.
Completing the course as part of Cindy's "Kings of the Off-road" quest yields the Support Bumper and adds two more tracks: Coernix Station - Cauthess and the Vesperpool. Completing all races earns Speed Daemon achievement/trophy.
