Thor's Hammer (トールハンマー, Tōru Hanmā?, lit. Thor Hammer) is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series. It is a powerful lightning-elemental attack, and is most often the attack of the summon Ixion.

Thor's Hammer is an attack exclusive to Minerva. It causes a storm of lightning bolts to strike over a moderately large area, dealing lightning-elemental magic damage.

Deals lightning elemental damage to all enemies.
Description
Thor's Hammer is Ixion's Overdrive, and deals lightning-elemental damage to all enemies. Ixion is able to use it when summoned by Yuna and whenever fought as a boss. In the International, PAL, and HD Remaster versions, Dark Ixion uses Thor's Hammer as an Overdrive in the second battle against it. Dark Ixion's Thor's Hammer is non-elemental and deals 17,100 to 19,308 damage that can only be reduced by another aeon's Shield, and inflicts Full Break.

Thor's Hammer is used as Ixion's ultimate attack. It deals major non-elemental damage to the party.

Thor's Hammer is an HP attack usable by Yuna, and is initially her only HP attack in the air. It summons Ixion who creates a large orb of lightning in the air that absorbs opponents towards it, the positioning of Ixion and the orb varying depending on the opponent's position. It needs 150 AP to master and needs 30 CP to equip.
