D012 EX - To the Farplane

Yuna performing To the Farplane in Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy.

The Sending (異界送り, Ikai Okuri?), also known as To the Farplane, is a Limit Break-type ability associated with Yuna. It first appeared in Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy as a damage-dealing EX Burst for Yuna, since her original Overdrive from Final Fantasy X was a support-oriented ability. The ability is based on the sending ritual Yuna performs in Final Fantasy X where she sends the pyreflies of the dead to the Farplane, but it is not an ability she can use in battle.

Appearances[]

Final Fantasy Dimensions II[]

The Sending Z, The Sending X and The Sending Ω are available when using Yuna signets of varying ranks. The wielder is lifted mid-air by a pillar of water and attacks an enemy several times with a water-based attack.
