The Price of Strength

The Price of Strength is a quest in Chapter 8, "Budding Bodyguard", in Final Fantasy VII Remake, taking place in the Sector 5 Slums. After Cloud Strife and Aerith Gainsborough spend the day together, Aerith's mother, Elmyra Gainsborough, asks Cloud to sneak out of the house.

Walkthrough[]

The quest begins when Cloud wakes up. To leave the house, walk out without bumping into any objects. A bucket is found immediately on the floor at the start; walk around it to the right, and then walk past the stools and buckets, then in between the stools, case, and fire extinguisher. If the player fails a few times, objects are removed, making it easier.

After leaving downstairs, Elmyra will talk to Cloud, telling him to leave towards Sector 6. Leave the house and then return to the Sector 5 Slums Center District, and take the road southeast to Sector 6. After arriving there, a cutscene commences, leading into the next quest, "Tour Guide", in the chapter "The Town That Never Sleeps".
