"The Oath" plays during scenes when Squall Leonhart's leadership is highlighted when he makes a speech to the struggling Balamb Garden SeeDs and cadets during the Battle of the Gardens. It also plays at the Sorceress Memorial (though not during the rescue cut scene) and when Fujin and Raijin confront Seifer in the Lunatic Pandora.

Final Fantasy XV

"The Oath" plays in the music player after the player buys the Memories of FFVIII soundtrack from Hammerhead for 100 gil.
