"The Final Battle" ("Saigo no tatakai") is the theme that plays during the final battle in Final Fantasy IX. In the Final Fantasy IX: Original Soundtrack, it is the sixteenth track in Disc 4.
"The Final Battle" is included in the albums Piano Collections: Final Fantasy IX and Final Fantasy IX: Uematsu's Best Selection. It is also rearranged and included in The Black Mages' third studio album The Black Mages III: Darkness and Starlight, retitled "Grand Cross", being eponymous with Necron's most powerful attack.
