"The Decisive Battle" is the predominant battle theme for boss battles, being replaced by "Battle to the Death" for a selection of strong bosses.
It is the twenty-fourth track of the first disc of the Original Sound Version, and of the Kefka's Domain album. The TOSE arrangement for the Finest Fantasy for Advance version was released as the twenty-fourth track of the Final Fantasy Finest Box collection's fourth disc.

The original version of "The Decisive Battle" is the battle theme for Ultros and Typhoon. A new arrangement by Masayoshi Soken titled "A Battle Decisively" was used for the boss theme for Sigmascape V1.0 raid introduced in the 4.2 patch.
