Template:Listen "The Decisive Battle" (決戦, Kessen?) or "Decisive Battle" is the normal boss battle theme for Final Fantasy VI. It was composed by Nobuo Uematsu.

"The Decisive Battle" was released as the twenty-fourth track of the first disc of the Final Fantasy VI: Original Sound Version, and of the Kefka's Domain - The complete soundtrack from the Final Fantasy III video game album. "Decisive Battle"'s arrangement by TOSE for Final Fantasy VI Advance was released as the twenty-fourth track of the Final Fantasy Finest Box collection's fourth disc.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn

Template:Sideicon The original version of "The Decisive Battle" is used as the battle theme for the fight against Ultros and Typhoon.

Dissidia Final Fantasy

Template:Sideicon An arrangement of "The Decisive Battle" by Takeharu Ishimoto titled "The Decisive Battle -arrange- from FINAL FANTASY VI" is present in Dissidia as one of the two default Final Fantasy VI battle themes. It is the twenty-seventh track of the Dissidia Final Fantasy Original Soundtrack's first disc.

"The Decisive Battle" can be automatically selected for battles occurring at Kefka's Tower, or when fighting Terra or Kefka.

Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy

"Decisive Battle" was arranged and performed by video game metal band Powerglove, and this was included as the fourth track of their debut extended play Total Pwnage.

Dragon Quest & Final Fantasy in Itadaki Street Portable

An organ arrangement of "The Decisive Battle" is included in this crossover between Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest for the PlayStation Portable. It has some electric guitar-chords on the background, but is mainly an organ piece.
