Final Fantasy Tactics description
Tentacle (触手, Shokushu?), also called Tentacles and Tentacl is a recurring enemy ability in the series. It is a physical attack that can either inflict statuses, deal heavy damage to a party member, or Drain HP from a party member.

Final Fantasy IV: The After Years[]
Tentacle is an ability used by Orthros. In the first phase of the battle, it will deal two hits to random targets; in the second phase of the battle, the number of hits increases to four. Each hit counts as a physical attack and can be nullified by Blink.
Final Fantasy V[]
Tentacle (Feeler in Advance) is a physical attack that inflicts Paralyze. It is used by the Karlabos boss.
Final Fantasy VI[]
Tentacle is an enemy ability used by Seaflower, which inflicts Poison upon a single character. This ability is only used in the SNES version however.
Final Fantasy VII[]
Tentacle (Feeler in the demo) is the special attack of Guard Hound and Unknown 2, as well as being the standard attack for Lost Number. It deals minor damage in Guard Hound's and Lost Number's case, but deals major non-elemental damage when used by Unknown 2. Tentacle Drain, used by Blood Taste, deals minor non-elemental damage and drains HP from the target.

Tentacle is used by Crimson Hound and Guard Hound, and hits up to three times.

Tentacle, used by Guard Fang, deals non-elemental physical damage and hits twice. It may also inflict Stun for one second.

Tentacle, used by Jelleye and Ochu, are both non-elemental Counterattacks. When used by Ochu, it has an added ability of inflict Poison as well.

Left Tentacle and Right Tentacle are both used only by Plant Brain and inflicts minor non-elemental damage to one target. Tentacle is used by Plant Spider and inflicts minor non-elemental damage to one target. The more dangerous Virus Tentacles is used by Malboro and inflicts moderate non-elemental damage as well as Virus to one party member.

Tentacles Attack is used by Octopus and inflicts minor non-elemental damage to one party member as well as inflicting Slow.
Final Fantasy X-2[]
Tentacles Slap is used by the Tentacles enemy when Oversouled and inflicts five non-elemental attacks worth of moderate damage a piece to random party members.

Tentacle is an enemy ability that slaps a single target around with a tentacle. It is used by the Sea Monk family.

Tentacles are used by all three varieties of Malboro as well as all three varieties of Mindflayer, however each has a unique formula for damage. It inflicts non-elemental damage to one unit.
