Switching Browsers[edit source]
Instead of making us all switch internent browsers, you should fix the code so that everyone can read this. Since its your words, you should have the burden of making them understood.
I'm not the only one who thinks people shouldn't try to convert people to another browers like it is a religion? I think that came out confusing.
Yeah, it's not fair to other users.
I'm not advocating for any browser in particular. Any that is sufficiently standards-compliant would work. I've been looking for (and will continue to look for) hacks around IE7-specific bugs, but there's no way I'm gonna bother fixing it for text-based browsers or antiques like Netscape Navigator 2. Also, if something works in IE7 but not IE6, I will also not be inclined to fixed it.
You could at least get a normal picture.
Lots of people use IE v6 and v7, I'm one of them. As for the sad fools clinging to AOL, they deserve what they get.
I argee with Chief. Picture on top of picture is really confusing. How does that even work?
This is how things look like, and it works for any browser implementing "Overflow:Hidden;" correctly with positioning. What IE messes up is not hiding the parts of the image overflowing outside of the div. What's worse is that the buggy overflow doesn't obey the z-index so my current attempts of having the bubble covering the overflow has failed."Overflow:hidden" is part of the old CSS 2 specification, I am greatly surprised that MicroSoft still has a buggy implementation of it in IE7...
Just randomly found a bizarre hack to make it work for IE 6 and 7. No reports yet as to whether Konquerer works or not (I expect it to work).
Hah, these people who use Internet Explorer deserve death. Buncha whiners. >:P AJDurai 13:53, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
And people who use Firefox are a bunch of uppity arrogant jerks. (Pretentious British Accent) - "Ha! You use Internet Explorer! You sad little sheep! Ha! Ha! How utterly drool." You guys are just as bad as those pesky Jehova's Witnesses. Get over yourselves, its just an internet browser.
ENOUGH FROM ALL OF YOU. I am a proud Firefox user, and frankly I recommend you to use it, but I don't want anyone, including myself or Pansola or BH or anyone, telling other people how to run their internet. Stop fighting and get along.
