Templar knights wield powerful weapons and have a repertoire of potent support magicks.
Description
Templar is a Job class exclusive to the Bangaa from Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift. Templars wield Knightswords and spears, and primarily have supporting abilities. Despite this, Templars also make great attacking units. As the only class besides Dragoon to use spears (with the exception of "equip everything" classes such as the Chocobo Knight), the Templar is the only other class able to use the Jump ability.
The Templar is an anti-mage specialist, as shown by his skillset which is focused on torturing magick- focused Jobs, likely in reference to the inquisitors dedicated to the elimination of heresy in the past. The Bishop class's Intercession commands are not easy to come by and unlocking this class may prove difficult, but it is worth the effort for the Templar's great stats in HP, Defense, and Attack. Although he has poor Speed, Haste should fix the problem.
