Tempest (テンペスト, Tenpesuto?) is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series, used exclusively by Gladiolus Amicitia.

Gladiolus Tempest Technique from FFXV

Tempest is Gladiolus's default Technique that can be invoked when he is AI-controlled. It unleashes a pair of sweeping area attacks with a greatsword. Its critical version adds a third swing. Tempest can be followed up with an attack from Noctis.

Tempest also appears as a Glaive Art for Gladiolus in Final Fantasy XV: Episode Gladiolus and in the main game when using character-swap.

Final Fantasy XV: Comrades[]

Tempest is one of the eight skills of The Clever's Sigil: Spectral Arms. It can be used when selecting Greatsword. Tempest can damage several enemies around the user.
