Tellah is fought as a boss in a flashback in Final Fantasy IV: The After Years at the end of the Lunarian's Tale.

The encounter is a recreation of Golbez's defeat at the hands of Tellah's Meteor. Tellah will cast Bio, Firaga, Thundaga and Blizzaga on Golbez, doing little damage. The player can attack Tellah using any of Golbez's spells, but will be unable to incapacitate him before he casts Meteor, wounding Golbez and killing himself, ending the fight.
The dialogue during the battle is the same as the dialogue used for the scene in the DS version of Final Fantasy IV. However, The Complete Collection bundle of the two games uses the Game Boy Advance release script for Final Fantasy IV while the scene in The After Years still uses the DS script, so the dialogue varies considerably between the two games.
