Has anyone ever tried defeating it by defeating its shell? --Auron Kaizer 22:13, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, absolutely. It's not hard, it's just time consuming. It can only counterattack three times. No, the REAL challenge is beating both the shell AND head. --Crazyswordsman 22:42, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
- I used a cheat code on the GBA version because i wanted to see what happened if you beat the shell. I defeated it, and not only does it drop the head's Hi-Potion and Ether, but it also drops 2 Smoke Bombs and a Ragnarok. Other than that, there is no difference. I guess its just a big reward for someone who works for hours on fighting the shell. Rakanadyo 12:58, February 5, 2010 (UTC)
- The shell doesnt drop anything different, i have watched a video of it being defeated without cheats. It might just be a side-effect of whatever cheat code you used. Gyromite 13:11, February 5, 2010 (UTC)
