Should we perhaps merge the three Black Mage enemy articles together? Under the new tab systems we can have Black Mage (Final Fantasy IX Enemy) and then tabs for the three types. DoreikuKuroofangu 21:56, February 25, 2011 (UTC)
If we do, should we merge other genesis groups (like these) together, such as the Imps in FFII. If not, why make this an exception? Likeacupcake 12:38, February 26, 2011 (UTC)
Kinda like Likeacupcake said, if we decide to merge them, then it should be done to all similar articles that fit the criteria. Kamikaze Pardee
- What similar articles do we mean? DoreikuKuroofangu 12:45, February 26, 2011 (UTC)
- Similare to the Black Mage type articles. I understand what you're trying to get across in the IRC and I totally agree with that. Kamikaze Pardee
- Can you give me some examples of these similar articles? Links or at least page names? And thank you. DoreikuKuroofangu 12:58, February 26, 2011 (UTC)
- Well here's some I think fits under what you're looking for: Bee_Saucer_I, Bee_Saucer_II, Bee_Saucer_III, Bee Saucer IV. Kamikaze Pardee
- Ah. Yeah, those ones I think we could merge as well. Would be unsightly due to there being so many variations, but we could do it. DoreikuKuroofangu 13:17, February 26, 2011 (UTC)

- Jimcloud concurs, as was said on IRC. Jimcloud 01:08, February 27, 2011 (UTC)
- I also agree that this article should be merged under a tab system, as should other similar articles. http://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x333/KujaFFIX/2ea674f6.png

What about Sorceress (1)? And things like Rinoa (boss) made a tab in the Adel (boss) article, then?Keltainentoukokuu 01:57, February 27, 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah they could definitely be merged, the Sorceresses especially. DoreikuKuroofangu 02:05, February 27, 2011 (UTC)
Since they are pretty much one enemy? Why don't you just merge it? The only difference is the "Type". Kayreeed Caliburn02:47, February 27, 2011 (UTC)
It's late now, I'll be merging this page and the others discussed tomorrow. Any other pages that should be merged like this, bring them to my talk page and I'll get to them. DoreikuKuroofangu 07:56, March 1, 2011 (UTC)
I disagree about this because it can't be compared to cases like Cloud of Darkness, Gilgamesh, Edea, Exdeath, Golbez and Beatrix.
Even Emperor's boss instances are split into his three completely different appearances as Boss, Final Boss and Soul of Rebirth appearances.
So no. Different enemies get different articles. - Henryacores^ 19:10, March 1, 2011 (UTC)
- "I disagree about this because it can't be compared to cases like Cloud of Darkness, Gilgamesh, Edea, Exdeath, Golbez and Beatrix." - I'm not sure what 'can't' is supposed to mean, but Gilgamesh (Final Fantasy V boss). DoreikuKuroofangu 20:11, March 1, 2011 (UTC)
- You know far too well that those enemies have their several appearances through the games they appear at on their same page because they are the same. Type A/B/C are not the same enemy. Besides having different appearances, skills, stats and locations, their existance is distinct, unlike Sephiroth, who is fought three times consecutively in Crisis Core, or Seifer, who is fought three times through FFVIII, near the end of the first three discs. - Henryacores^ 20:28, March 1, 2011 (UTC)
