Page is wrong[edit source]

Tri-Disaster and Tetra-Disaster are different. Tri means three -- Tetra-Disaster is a quadruple enemy attack. Yeah, the attacks may be similar, but should "Tetra-Disaster" be on a page which titles the attack something unfitting?  ILHI 08:19, 26 October 2008 (UTC)

Was just going to remove this (old message though this may be), but decided to check. Our FF7 translation page lists Tetra-Disaster as "Torai Dizasutā", or "トライディザスター". As seen here, that is in-fact Tri-Disaster. "Tetra" Disaster is just another one of FF7's little translation screw-ups it seems. Doreiku Kuroofangu 15:32, September 29, 2011 (UTC)
Ooh, the things you learn. I assumed that it was fire/lightning/ice and earth -- because at the end kujata appears and the ground shakes. 79.69.206.193 15:39, September 29, 2011 (UTC)
Can we just give the translators a little credit? "Tetra" is obviously more appropriate for this attack, and it's likely that the people translating it were not complete idiots and realized this. Are we sure it's a mistranslation and not a correction by the translators? ——Preceding unsigned comment was added by Tursiops (talkcontribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~.
The attack is Fire/Ice/Lightning elemental. This is a known fact. Try it for yourself on flying enemies. It doesn't miss as all Earth attacks do. The attack has three elements and really only supplies anything past that for the sake of showing Kujata itself. Regardless of Kujata showing up for the animation, it works in line with the Tri-Disaster attack and was named the same in the Japanese. "Difference?" Sure. "Correction?" No. Bluestarultor Best-of Stellar Arena sigicon.png BSA 22:02, October 6, 2011 (UTC)
"Tetra" is obviously more appropriate for this attack" - except it isn't.
"and it's likely that the people translating it were not complete idiots" - Have you read FF7's script lately? Doreiku Kuroofangu 22:15, October 6, 2011 (UTC)
