Storm Spear is not Thunder Lance. This is what I have gathered for splitting:
Storm Spear: FFXII (Storm Spear), XIIRW (Storm Lance), EoT (Thunder Pike), Type-0 (Thunder Spear)
Like I said during one of the earlier discussions about weapons: split the weapon into different articles depending on their Japanese name since this is our primary source. English is mainly to make the game "understable" (this is questionable regarding our recent revamp of FFXIII trilogy due to the lazy localization). If the same English name applies for the weapon with different Japanese spellings then the most "correct" name localization is given the priority for an article name and on the top of the page we mention that other weapon share that name in other releases. I know it sounds a bit confusing but it's pretty much the same like we haf with the flame-elemental spears discussion which we had recently IIRC.—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 01:15, February 21, 2015 (UTC)
I know. Most of these are A) To get someone to split them up since I'm already busy as it is and B) To remind myself what I need to split later if I have to do it myself. Though you did remind me of using the most recent name of the weapon is meant to be used for the article. If there's more than one name used, then it's the one most often used that's given priority over the most recent name. Yeah, it is a bit confusing because of all the different names ha...
Ok, redoing the data here like I've been doing with other pages.
Much like with Mythril Spear/Mythril Lance, keep the Thunder Spear/Lance on the same page or not?
