Gilgamesh: Enough expository banter!
This talk page is used for discussing improvements to the page "The End (term)". It is not the place for general discussion or sharing stories about the topic of this article.

It's about as silly as HP. HP isn't exclusive to Final Fantasy. It's about as silly as Game Over. Game over screens aren't exclusive to FF. :/  ILHI 17:41, 18 April 2009 (UTC)

Personally, I think The End and Game Over should be merged. The End is a form of Game Over afterall. Also the tag is awkward. (The tag should probably be (Term) though).

For those of you who want to argue: "Game Over" means the end of the game. Game's end is The End. Just alternate endings allow the player to die. After Gaming over, or hitting the end, the player cannot save and must load, so it's exactly the same, they just have separate end screens.  ILHI 23:32, 18 April 2009 (UTC)

I'm kind of curious about where the Mini Games are coming from.
On the issue at hand: I agree with ILHI here. There should be a page included on game universals (the end and game over are in every game in the world), perhaps called End of Game. This could include Game Over, The End, and Bad Endings. Just a thought.--Werefang 23:39, 18 April 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, excuse the bad term, I had no idea what I should put there...hope I didn't put in any double entendres there =P Chocolancer 00:20, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
Have a gallery or something. The difference between The End and Game Over is that

The End happens when the story is finished. While Game Over happens when all of your party gets to be KOed. Kuzlalala Squee! 02:14, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

By the way, this isn't the right tag. "The End" isn't a game, I think its a term. --BlueHighwind 02:25, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

Shouldn't it be just called "The End" then? Kuzlalala Squee! 02:29, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
No. "The End (term)". --BlueHighwind 02:30, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
