Is it just my imagination, or does Spiritus basically look like an alternate skin for Jecht? 22.214.171.124 21:20, September 24, 2016 (UTC)
- I'd say he looks a bit more like Maduin from FFVI.—Kaimi (999,999 CP/5 TP) ∙ 11:21, July 17, 2017 (UTC)
Misinformation on his origin? Edit
This article states that based on the character profiles from the Curtain Call official website, that before Spiritus was born from Chaos's will, Chaos's soul survived and lingered around.
When World B collapsed, everything that still was there was erased from existence, including Chaos's soul, which was still wandering through the lands after his defeat at the hands of the warriors of Cosmos. However, not everything disappeared: his will somehow survived.
This will eventually took form, and thus, Spiritus was born.
However, the actual character profile makes no mention of Chaos's soul:
カオスの意思から生まれた男神。 ディシディアの世界を守り、発展させるために生まれた『魔法の力』を司る。 同じ使命を持つマーテリアから、何かとライバル視され、対立している
This is my rough translation of the character profile:
A god born from Chaos's lingering intentions. He controls the "power of magic" in order to protect the world of Dissidia. He comes into conflict with Materia, who is his rival with a similar mission.
So far this was all I could find pertaining to Spiritus. Where does the information on the Chaos bit come from?

I'd like to know this, too, especially because in NT, Ramuh tells Terra and Zidane they were born from the "old gods" which Terra replied with Cosmos and Chaos and Ramuh confirmed it, but then later on in the game, Terra just says that they're both born from Cosmos's wishes. Does the NT ultimania say anything about this? Or is it mentioned on the Dissidia blog on Famitsu? ClaireRhods (talk) 03:27, April 24, 2018 (UTC)
